Am I the problem or is it the scent?
Relaxed 400,- the company calls for this - most expensive - fragrance of the "Collection privee" and I am left with a bit of spit away. Wtf, I would like to call and resist the fierce desire to wash off the May rose again immediately.
I find the start - to say the least - dreadful. "Freshness" and "citric notes" are the secret of the website and are elitist, but - sorry - I don't smell anything. I smell chamomile, dull herbal spice and well, a hint of chlorine, possibly also wet cardboard, that could explain the chlorine association.
It smells... i seem to lack the right vocabulary here... it just smells bad. This is how I imagine the contents of plague balls could have smelled.
At this moment I am glad that the Sillage of this part of the private collection is also similar to that of my private colleagues.
Then a pale Weleda wild rose oil note begins, still wetted. And unfortunately that's all that the heart note thinks of showing me in kindness, I smell for one or two hours exactly this pale wild rose tone, as the only note and so the exquisitely priced heart of the collection smells on me like an embrocation with a rose body oil stored over time: Soliflor and therefore pale, one-dimensional, unfinished and with this pompous undertone. In the case of a wine, this would be called "simply structured with a distinctly false note".
The base note is hardly worth mentioning now, actually the whole thing just gets paler and dusked into nirvana.
The good news: After less than four hours it's completely over and the Sillage is in the nearfield area from the beginning: I'm not allowed to go more than two centimeters away from my skin with my nose.
I struggle helplessly with myself for an explanation. 400,-!!! In words: Four hundred!!! Do I smell what? Don't I get what? Am I the problem and not the scent? And then what evaluation do I give?
