Muse in a dazzling robe
Pink bottle, violet and vanilla, all right! Oh no - that is definitely not a cute young girl scent.

What a great, multi-layered top note! There is nothing citric, the bergamot only adds a little freshness. Above the dark, spicy, malty and slightly smoky vanilla floats a light, spicy floral note. Violets? The bitter almond and sub-powdery powder smells more like heliotrope, even more like gardenia or frangipani with a little tonka bean.

A comparison with gardenia and frangipani scents like "Gardénia" by Robert Piguet, "Gardenia Royal" by Il Profvmo, "Kenzo Amour", "Attimo" by Salvatore Ferragamo or "Omnia Pink Sapphire" by Bvlgari would be interesting.

If the freshness is blown away after a while, the fragrance becomes more compact while retaining the other facets. With good sillage, the scent in the projection now appears round, powdery and airy, while it has something slightly biting up close. This sounds paradoxical and after deduction of points, but the distance effect is decisive, because nose on skin is not the normal case of perception.

This beautiful, lively impression lasts for hours. Gradually the floweriness is replaced by something woody, paired with a slightly animal musk. The wood called cedar is quite synthetic, but pleasant, and is quite oily and oudig. The scent becomes softer, darker and heavier and, still vanilla-spicy, has an oriental character. The Muse poudrée has developed into a seductive odalisque.

Conclusion: This perfume is by no means as simple as the harmless common ingredients, just five in number, let us assume. Muse poudrée is also not light (old) pink, rather mauve. The fragrance undergoes a beautiful development and is differentiated in each phase. The synthetic ingredients do not look striking, but sufficiently natural. The Sillage throughout good, the durability with about ten hours even very good. A really well made creation, inexpensive on top of that.

Even the bottle deserves attention. far from kitsch made of old pink milk glass without frills, tightly closing cap, good spray head. Slim, angular at the bottom and round at the top, it is stable and lies well in the hand, truly a hand flatterer.

Nefertiti recommends this beguiling perfume to all ladies with a weakness for the Orient without incense and spices.
