Reminds me strongly of Davidoff Cool Water
Once again I received a collection of nice perfume miniatures. This mini of Alamo pour Homme Eau de Toilette was also included. Unfortunately, the cap broke during transportation. So I have to test it right away before the fragrance disappears or deteriorates thanks to oxidation. Unfortunately, the opening is still very borderline and I think it's tipped. Funnily enough, my mom still liked the smell. Is it still worth a review? In my eyes, yes, because nobody here seems to know this fragrance. Interestingly, the whole thing smells pretty good after an hour and clearly reminds me of Cool Water Eau de Toilette. It's interesting that both fragrances were released in 1988 - who copied whom? The longevity is good at around 8 hours and the sillage is also good.
As I said, the opening is not good at all. Nevertheless, I recognize green and aquatic aromas with grapefruit, lemon and mint. The heart note offers lavender, cloves, nutmeg and a fresh sea breeze. The base smells of cedar wood, amber and oak moss.
As it is now difficult for me to pass the miniature on, I will probably have to keep it and use it up.
