Boring, I'm afraid...
I received my bottling of Cyprès Pantelleria on Saturday and tested it yesterday. I was really very excited about this new Armani Prive. Unfortunately, this joy but already found an abrupt end shortly after the aufprühen.
Cyprès Pantelleria Opens with a sweet and spicy aquatic as it also reminds the big brother Bleu Turqouise, which I personally do not really like, because I hoped for a fresher and citrus opening. I was sadly disappointed here. Cyprès Pantelleria is much more of a Bleu Turqouise that is too weak. There is also a vanilla note here which is not at all indicated in the pyramid.
The next point of much disturbs is that by this milder and somewhat fresher and lighter opening at Cyprès Pantelleria also a very great similarity to ACQUA DI SALE of PROFUMUM ROMA arises. This similarity existed in the big brother Bleu Turqouise only very slightly and was displaced by the vanilla and the use of more spices.
Unfortunately, however, it was exactly this vanilla and spice combination that led to the sale of Bleu Turqouise for me. With Cyprès Pantelleria one gets exactly this combination toned down again, where I wonder, unfortunately, whether Armani simply thought: "Let Bleu Turqouise dilute and throw something fresh still pure and sell it cheaper". The whole thing is very disappointing for me personally and I just think to myself, you want over 150€ for this? I can really recommend this fragrance to no one, because you can buy either Bleu Turqouise or ACQUA DI SALE by PROFUMUM ROMA here for a little more money and these last again a little longer and smell better, provided you like this kind of aquatic.
Cyprès Pantelleria is also a very linear scent there are almost no changes over the whole course, only the beginning is a bit fresher than the rest.
I am sorry to say here that Cyprès Pantelleria is boring and uninspired.
