Axel sweat ..
... has certainly not had his nose in the game here.

The slender bottle, with its combination of gold and turquoise, has an oriental effect and offers a fresh and aquatic fragrance.

At the first sprayer a very nice citric floral note of jasmine and hyacinth is on its way to the nose.

Tuberose has been used very sparingly and cannot play out its heavy sweetness here. It is perceptible, but its primary purpose is to fix the floral and citrus notes. So the scent remains rather unsweet- flowery.

The citrus notes are not so intense after a while. The jasmine comes a bit more to the fore and the vanilla can already be guessed at.

At this stage of the fragrance, the term 'Fresh Oriental' imposes itself on me.

Water lily and musk keep the scent, but continue in the mainly fresh area.

A fresh vanilla, with mossy wood, gives the scent a little grounding and ensures that the light aquatic and citric scents do not completely evaporate.

Only towards the end, vanilla and wood are a little stronger in the scene. However, the fragrance remains in the fresh floral area until the end.

The shelf life of the fragrance from five to seven hours, for a summer fragrance, is quite in the expected range. The Sillage retreats in the course, as to be expected, to close to the body.

The blue Giorgio, is a beautiful summer scent, as made for the warm and even hot days.
It fits best, for me, into the evening hours of these days.

I still stick with the term 'Fresh Oriental'.

Old World Romantic Feeling
Sometimes we find a perfume we enjoy with relish and we realize the house has made other perfumes that have existed over a number of years with popularity. So we seek them out to try them, figuring the noses behind the perfumes might be in sync with ours.
Giorgio Blue is the second perfume from Giorgio Beverly Hills that I've sampled and purchased. This begins as a delightful floral that isn't bursting with a sharp multitude of crisp flowers in your face, rather, think creamy, well-blended flowers that have been mixed for potpourri so that the initial offering is one of prize flowers picked at the exact moment of ripe bloom. To top it off, these flowers all compliment each other and they don't vie for attention, trying to knock each other out trying to be the top dog. They all work together.
It's a springtime garden party, the grasses are lush, the sun is high, the sky is blue and the air is warm enough to shed long sleeves but yet wear a shawl. This is a lady's perfume, a genteel fragrance, soft yet with strong unspoken currents. Gentle woods soon seep out and dance with vanilla notes giving Giorgio Blue a sensual feel and attitude. Wear it for the afternoon with a few good spritzes and don't worry about leaving a strong trail. Sillage sits around you with a soft, Old World floral vanilla feel.
A very, very romantic scent that hints of days gone by.

Blue Ice
The perfect name & juice colour. Blue, like the fresh crisp clean scent that's in the bottle. Perfect for hot days. Step out the shower and spray on slightly damp skin, it's very cooling, uncomplicated and soothing.

To me it's an aquatic-floral that gives me a slight unisex vibe that is reminiscent of a few other scents: CK One, Eternity for Men, Cool Water and even 7411 Cologne. I get mainly water lily, mandarin (and lemon?) hyacinth, and oak musk. I am sure the drift-wood drifted by me, but I must have missed it ; )

Very pretty, light but not fleeting. A wonderful edition to your (casual) summer shelf. Silage is: "an aura of fresh pretty crisp clean aquatic-floral" - Longevity is great: 8+ hours. The price is very friendly yet it smells well made and multi faceted.
Especially recommended for people who want a scent that can stand its ground in hot weather.
