Shalimar's cousin
Thanks to MNQ for sending me some of this pretty, well-rounded woody vanilla. Bouquet d'Orient makes me think of Shalimar quite a bit. They are from the same decade and share quite a few notes. (Bergamot, lemon and other citruses in the top; iris and rose in the heart; patchouli, vanilla, and woods in the base.) They share a pleasantly vanillic, somewhat "dusty" quality that can be quite appealing on a winter night. I don't think I'd add this to my collection when I already have Shalimar (and Yves Rocher Voile d'Ambre, which is also in this group), but it has been fun to try it.
