Fruity Sa(u)vague
Dear Parfumos,

does it smell like Sauvage? Yes, he does.
Do you have to like sweet or fruity scents? Yes, absolutely.
Have you ever had your first experience with perfume cephalgia? Definitely.

Ambassador for Men is nothing necessarily fancy, but for people like me, without sounding immediately pejorative, who don't want to smell like every other person on the street, without having to give up the conspicuous scent character of the aforementioned colleague, this fragrance is an absolute alternative!

For me Ambassador for Men is the wilder brother of Sauvage. His curious and open-minded nature has taken him out of the clean family into events that have shaped his character in a very unique way. He is always attentive and available for every adventure.

I can give advice to anyone who likes the DNA of the Sauvage, but for whom it is a bit too conventional, to test the Ambassador! I wear this scent to feel every occasion. Cold, warm, sunny, rainy, whatever. Fruity, sweet and clean. Fits always and still dances a bit out of line.

Fruity chemical club
Ambassador seems to me to be a fragrance, which polarizes strongly in two directions.
Either you like him, or you do not like him at all.

Got the days a sample and decided to apply this.
Many reviews here are extremely positive and promising, but do I share this partially great reputation regarding the fragrance Ambassador?

No! So not at all.

To take it up front, I find this fragrance almost unwearable, horrible and a sure aspirant for headache.

The fragrance from the house of Gisada assaulted me from the beginning with a very unpleasant for me fragrance cloud. A very unattractive synthetic paired with a never-ending sweetness.
Yes, okay...somewhere I also still recognize something fruity, especially apple and mango.
However, that does not make it better. For me, the whole is extremely overlaid by a sweetness and a texture that does not seem round. The whole thing also seems to me simply cheap.
I can not tell much more about this fragrance.
A comparison with Sauvage, as has been mentioned here in part, I would not sign.

I would like to mention explicitly that I do not want to attack anyone personally who wears this fragrance or who likes this fragrance. It is solely my individual sensation.
Ambassador occupies as of today number 2 on my personal list of fragrances that I can not stand at all.

The silage as well as the durability are in any case above average strong.

I would advise against a blind buy here in any case, necessarily test first.

It's not right, but it feels really good..
Dear Parfumas and Parfumos,

do you know this feeling?

You do something, although you know that it is wrong. You buy expensive clothes, even though you know that it is overpriced and rarely worn. You buy delicious food even though you know it's unhealthy. You fall in love with a person even though you know nothing can come of it and it has no future. The mind says no, but the heart says yes :-)

It's the same for me with this fragrance:

When I tested the fragrance the 1st time about 1 year ago at the Pinks, I was blown away ... the scent immediately captivated me and the fragrance experience just would not disappear from my mind. I just like the mixture of sweet and fruity, which combines here as I have rarely perceived.

The Ambassador starts with a fruit explosion that smells - as described - of mango. I am well aware that the note is not natural, but I know of no fragrance that smells like this in the opening. I associate the fragrance with fairground feeling like no other. If you want to describe the fragrance briefly and succinctly, then you can try to do so with a fruity version of Sauvage, as has been said a few times. But this does the fragrance an injustice ...

True, the fragrance smells a bit synthetic, I assume that there is a lot of ambroxan here, even if it is not explicitly stated. BUT but it has significantly more depth than Sauvage and its many clones. The top note is overlaid by that mango accord, but I don't smell any apple or cardomon, nonetheless the best top note I have ever smelled.

After the incredible top note, the scent becomes a bit more herbaceous in the heart note and is joined by lavender as well as pepper, while the mango note remains clearly present. In the base I perceive some vanilla and amber, the whole in a great coordinated combination. Even though there are certainly fragrances with more natural ingredients, I have the impression that the fragrance was technically excellently implemented and the individual ingredients were perfectly coordinated. He smells simply different than much of what is currently worn in the designer sector.

I wear the fragrance most often in the cold season, although in my eyes the Ambassador is versatile and - with the exception of hot summer days - can always be worn. It's certainly aimed at the younger crowd, but I've never had any negative feedback so far; to be honest, I have to confess that I've received few compliments on it either, which isn't surprising given the current situation, but the fragrance experience is just great.

The sillage and durability I see a little stricter: with me the fragrance lasts about 7 to 8 hours and projects very strongly in the first 2 hours. After that it decreases a bit and becomes skin tight from the 5th hour. I would call the two factors good, nothing more, especially not Beast mode.

In conclusion, I just like bottles with a magnetic lid, also here you can see the good swiss. Craft.

All in all, the Ambassador has been love at first spray for me. Even if there are higher quality fragrances, am simply relaxed when I wear the fragrance. The fragrance spreads good mood, and that's what we all want :-)

The fruity-smoky mainstream niche
Hello my dear perfume friends, today there is behind the penultimate 23.Türchen a First Bzw. Second Impressions to this fragrance: Gisada - Ambassador for Men.

Gisada is a Swiss luxury brand that offers handbags and perfumes of the middle to upper price range and which was completely unknown to me until now. Brand testinonial is Jeremy Meeks, the young man who was discovered as the prettiest jailbird ever because of his mug shot, the photo went viral in 2014. After serving his sentence, he took off with a stellar career as a model. Don't judge, (almost) everyone deserves a 2nd chance!

Despite all the good upbringing and to compensate for centuries of patriarchal oppression , I may just reduce him here to the appearance and say: the guy just looks hot!

The fragrance is more unisex than ever. And yet I want to describe to you today my first impressions about it entirely on the basis of the role-typical clichés, because we are used to and feel comfortable in it (Irone an. A treatise on this topic will be blogging soon):

At the spray head, the chemistry is already hitting me here, similar to Erba Pura. I smell Gamma-Undecalactone, a dark fruity aromachemical, to which I seem to react hyperosmically, already perceive small amounts exaggerated. Sprayed on, the scent starts intensely fresh and fruity. A short time later, the mango comes in and I get the olfactory impression as if a woman with fruity mango shower gel had sneaked into the men's group shower, where otherwise only products are used that are clearly declared as "for men". The mango note is nicely brought out, becoming creamier as the scent progresses, until it flattens out after about 3-4 hours, allowing the base to shine through. Which seems flat to me here though, like a dried up Herbes de Provence spice blend. From the Gamma-Undecalactone I hardly notice anything, it just seemed to stick to the spray head increased.

For the sake of completeness, I would also like to record my Second Impressions:
Apple, slightly spicy freshness at the beginning, subtle herbal notes come. The fragrance appears moderately sweet and suddenly blossoms the fruity mango note, citrus flanked, discreetly synthetic and once again I feel this fragrance is 100% unisex. The fruitiness slowly develops a creamy bottom note. After some time, about 2-3 hours, the herbaceousness becomes more prominent, minimal smokiness and Herbes de Provence notes come in. And very late in the drydown, only perceptible the next day, I smell it again, the Gamma-Undecalactone.

My conclusion to the fragrance: it is ok, whether the world has now necessarily needed him, however, is debatable. He plays with its fruity smokiness in a popular mainstream niche, wink wink, a combination that might seem familiar to many noses. Wear Ambassador for Man I would not, but also not push him off the edge of the bed, if a guy like Jeremy Meeks smells so .

Apologies for the charged mood today, it was all down to my squeaky underwear in the video and so I want to slowly ramp up the excitement curve until tomorrow when everything finally unloads and I test the most controversial fragrance ever. Be curious. And no, it is neither Office nor Date for Men ;-)

Thanks for reading,

Your Flaconesse

Crowdpleaser without that certain something
After I have searched for hours at parfumo and on the net for a fragrance that is not mainstream, but me also no 300 € costs ... I have finally decided to
to give this fragrance just blindly a chance. The fragrance pyramid and notes sounded in any case after a fragrance that satisfies my preference for sweet düfte but extends it by a nice fruit component.
Since I'm still very new to perfumos and every new scent feels like a big adventure to me, I excitedly waited for the DHL messenger on shipment day, only to happily snatch the package out of his hands.
No sooner was the package opened and the first sprays distributed on my arm came also already a slight , but not negative, disillusionment.
The fragrance is not bad, however, I immediately missed something, something that just knocks me over and thrilled me as before with my first Swiss Arabian fragrances.

The fragrance starts with a sweet synthetic fruit note, often I read in the comments mango, but for me it was simply tropical fruit.

After a while, the sweetness and sticky "cotton candy fruitiness" recedes a bit and woody citrus notes join in. A slight spiciness as with white pepper or ginger I can also make out. The similarity to Sauvage is there, no question, but here already strongly prevails the sweetness.
After the drydown, the fragrance settles a little and becomes more consistent, it no longer goes through so many changes and I mean to make out a slight mint or menthol freshness ... something cold in any case.

Do not get me wrong, I like the scent very much, however, it is also nothing that you have not smelled elsewhere already so or so similar .
For the price perhaps a bit too Little courage and independence.
The durability and also the sillage are really good and just there Ambassador knows how to convince. Even after 6 hours still in the room and after 8 hours clearly perceptible on the skin.

I think one has dared a little too little with this fragrance, he could have been more . With some courage, sage, cremigkeit or pudrigkeit, he could have made more of himself .

But what can be said in any case is that this fragrance will probably rarely tarnish .
A classic Crowdpleaser the for the office maybe a little sweet, for denn everyday life, the bar or the club visit but in any case always goes.
However, if I had known before that you often get more special fragrances for the same price in the souk, I probably would not have grabbed

A fruity alternative to Sauvage. Mango Juice! Very long lasting and in-your-face projection. Clubbing material for the younger crowd

One of those fruity and pleasant shower gels for men that you feel you've smelled many times since the 1990s, but still very well executed.

I would not compare it with Sauvage. Maybe it wears similar. It's more sophisticated, fruity, sweet &less synthetic. Beast performer as well

Fruity amber, very musky despite no musk notes. A well-blended concoction of fruity, floral, spicy notes but mainly mango, lavender, amber.
