Eagle eyes
Today I casually mentioned to the hubby that in the Stammparfumerie some rose fragrances are reduced.
No significant reaction on his part - as expected.
But he kindly accompanied me to the fragrance oasis.
Next to me, a customer grabbed nimbly to La vie est belle en Rose - and let the view continue to roam over the offer table.
But the husband poked like an eagle on the 3 remaining rose fragrances down - and barreled them safely in his hands.
I looked at him puzzled - and he answered coolly that I must well decide if I wanted a rose fragrance - and he pointed with his head to the " happy " en rose buyer.
But he had captured for me Rosy Crush, Mon Paris florale and Mon Guerlain Bloom of Rose.
I test curious - and started with Rosy Crush, because I know that Givenchy always scores with him.
And indeed - a Bed of Roses opened up before us - soft and without thorns.
No soap note, but slightly berry , sweetish, underpinned by bright patch.
The fragrance has something moving about it, as if a wind went through it.
I go the delicately sweet rose summer wind through the mind.
Despite its fullness of roses, Rosy remains light and airy.
Hubby nods in agreement - and I'm with him d'accord - if not there were still 2 scents to try.
