An elegant blend of coffee, vanilla and tobacco
This is a limited distribution perfume from Givenchy. It is very mature and elegant. Naturally, it does not project a lot, nor will it announce your arrival at a party. Visualize something your expensive lawyer would wear and you will get Enflamme.
The different notes are exquisitely blended, and you will not find any note to be dominant. The opening is a gentle blend of coffee, vanilla, tobacco and resins like tolu balsam and labdanum. But this is none of those. It is not a vanilla scent, a tobacco scent or a coffee scent. There in lies the beauty. In particular, you do not perceive the sting of tobacco in Enflamme, though it is somewhere in the background. The dry down is similar, but the resins float up a little bit.
In summary, Enflamme is an elegant board room favorite. I am not sure if it is worth the money.
