The smoking, mature biker in the leather jacket
Thank you very much to Olesea for the bottling :-) I really like the Garçon Manqué, even if my best friend had to think of a "mature man" in leather clothes, to put it affectionately. In my mind, I rather see a cool, smoking biker in a leather frock. I don't know how I came up with it, but to me it smells like a mixture of Ombré Leather (2018) Eau de Parfum and Qaa'ed al Shabaab without the exaggerated synthetics. At 10 to 12 hours, the longevity is strong and the sillage is quite successful.
The top note starts off smoky and dark thanks to incense, but also immediately leathery with a fine powderiness. In the heart note, the leather aroma becomes stronger, the smokiness remains and osmanthus underpins these impressions with floral and woody notes. The base continues to be infiltrated by leather, is still woody and, thanks to styrax, balsamic and reminiscent of incense sticks.
If you like leather, incense, osmanthus and styrax, you should be able to pick this up without hesitation. However, the price could be a deterrent. For me, it also smells oriental and more masculine than unisex.
