Green and transparent tuberose

Transparent, fresh and almost green flower bouquet water. Diluted and inoffensive tuberose and orange flowers, turned green through the addition of watery violet leaves and dewy white roses. Cedar is noticeable in the drydown. The peach is very subtle, fresh and not dominating at all. The freshest tuberose perfume in my collection around my favourite flower, it is very clean and refreshing, pretty easy to wear, with an almost minimal style that matches a white simple white dress and a polished ponytail for a warm summer morning. Not avant garde, uncomplicatedly contemporary. Moderate sillage and 4 to 5 hours longevity.

Buttery Springtime

Flora by Gucci Gracious Tuberose is a lovely surprise!! I bought it unsniffed from inflight duty free a few nights ago and can't stop wearing it!

This Tuberose is definitely gracious (as it's name implies) ... a note that has the reputation for misbehaviour in most fragrances containing it has been tamed beautifully here. Fresh up top, the Rose and Orange Blossom combination with the Tuberose in the heart is utterly inspired. A 'buttery' green effect is immediately evident ... which is all at once surprising, but very interesting too. I also get a substantial resiny Cedar as this fragance dries down.
Gracious Tuberose has good sillage and slightly more than average longevity, lingering for at least 6 hours on my skin, even in the tropical weather I currently find myself in. I've had more than one compliment over the last few days ... always a good indication that something is doing the job it's supposed to!

I seldom wear anything that smells 'fresh' ... Gracious Tuberose delivers springtime in a bottle without feeling like a slap of eau de cologne ... simply lovely!!

Sheer Tuberose

The Flora Garden collection is not as magnificent as Mugler's Garden of Stars, but Tuberose is my favorite out of the line-up. Unfortunately, Violet and Mandarin are the sisters that were separated from the others at birth (when launched) due to exclusivity. So, I can't say how I feel about them yet. Tuberose is not anything like Michael Kors or Fracas. Its a white floral with shared attention on green notes. Very light, airy and sheer. When I smell this, I think of Miss Dior Cherie L'eau. Another fresh, white to green floral, composed of bigarade orange, white musk, caramel and patchouli. Quite classy.
