If only the violet was not so short-lived
First of all, however, how beautiful is this packaging? The box alone is very high quality processed, has the look of grained leather, then the small bag and then the beautiful bottle. Inspired by the first perfume containers, which once stood on wooden shelves in pharmacies, the fragrance is available in a noble, white lacquered glass bottle in porcelain look, which is decorated with gold accents.
The swan as a symbol of purity and grace of the fragrance.
Released in 2019, the nose behind it is Alberto Morillas.
Gucci's first haute perfumery line, "The Alchemist's Garden." The collection consisting of eau de parfum, fragrance oils and acque profumate ("scented water") was inspired by the art of alchemy and fragrance making. Each fragrance is based on a particular component that represents one of the house's distinctive codes, and can be enhanced, muted or blended with other fragrances from the collection to create a completely new, unique scent.
Violet combines with musk and iris flowers to create a soft, powdery fragrance. Timeless and soothing.
For me, clearly a winter fragrance.
A beautiful violet fragrance, delicate and nostalgic, unfortunately the shelf life is very short.
Elegance and security. Bravado and made right. No fragrance for a hot night. Also no fragrance with which one pulls around the houses, but for moments in which one wants to act adult, relaxed and noble perfect.
Sillage is good and the durability unfortunately not. But when was already times
Violet durable?

Recipe: Crushed Violet
Since I have been working in a "Kneipp" kindergarten for some time now, I try out some recipes with plants and herbs at home I love the scent of violets and since some of them grow in my garden, I wanted to make a violet sugar.
So it was time to pick violet blossoms and since there were too few (I just wanted to leave some left), my son had to go searching (at the cemetery he found some more).
The violets came into a mortar.
You probably know the movie "The Perfume", so I felt when I squeezed out the lovely, delicate flowers of her Essence.
What remained was a mud pampe, which is still mixed with sugar.
Now everything is emptied on a paper to let it dry well.
When I smelled the violet sugar after an hour,
i was shocked - that was no longer my beloved violet scent! Before the concentrated Essence I had to retreat, stinging, yes biting was that.
And that's exactly how Virgin Violet smells O.k. the base becomes more restrained and powdery/creamy tolerable.
In this case, Gucci has already done a good job, the fragrance itself is very authentic and natural,
but for me nothing.
My son, however, found the smell very tasty and sprinkles the violet sugar over the food every now and then.

A comet full of powder and violets hits the skin
Well, how do you describe a fragrance that can be better explained figuratively than with pure words? Imagine a mouse that walks over the mirror tray of the dressing table and stumbles on the search for something beautiful and falls into the big pot of powder. On the way to her destination she takes a detour through the cupboard with baking ingredients and leaves her impressions in the vanilla sugar.

To find a comparison with other fragrances, I would say that it's between Tom Fords Fucking Fabulous and - in my opinion - the unisex Valentino Uomo Intense. Somewhat less sweet and creamy than Fucking Fabulous and slightly less spicy-leathery than Uomo Intense. The quality of the fragrance is clearly demonstrated by the fact that it never deflects unpleasantly in one direction. Instead, it always remains pleasant on the skin, appears noble and shows its persistent and unobtrusive silage in the best moments.

The fragrance is also forgiven for the fact that no further development is powdered around the ears after the top note. The heart and base notes are consistent at a high level and are characterized by delicate powderiness and a hint of vanilla and musk.

The start and the permanently constant note in this fragrance I now have to treat separately. This is the violent and radiating intensity of violets or violet blossoms. This note is contained in a strength that one might think one is bathing in a sea full of violets. But it is never over the top, so I, as an opponent of flowery scents, can love this fragrance. Just at the beginning I had to think about it myself if I wanted to go to Mei. I liked it, but I was convinced by the scent.
The durability and silage mentioned are extremely present, but never so that it disturbs. I had sprayed the scent on my forearm once and smelled it myself through the ends of my sleeve during the course of the day. It's 10 hours on the clock, easy.

In conclusion it remains to be said that friends of TF Fucking Fabulous and Valentino Uomo Intense should take a look here, because quality and performance are right. The design of the bottle is of course worth mentioning
