creamy & sparkling
L'Instant pour Homme begins on my skin as a tingly & spicy citrus scent with a hint of lavender. The lemon is so fresh, clean and lively that it reminds me of a glass of chilled Perrier filled with citrus fruits. Within seconds, however, L'Instant becomes quite warm with dusty cocoa powder. It feels out of place at first, discordant and too gloomy sweet, but soon melts in the base. There are also indications of creamy woods, but according to my nose it does not smell like real or Mysore sandalwood. Instead, it smells of something general and later looks more like cashmeran than sandalwood, considering that it almost feels like cashmere. Nevertheless, it is still pretty and serves to bridge the gap between the spicy, crisp, cool notes and the warmth that lurks in the base of L'Instant. A grandiose and extravagant fragrance. And definitely unisex!
