Nobel goes down who falls down
Do you expect more from Guerlain?
Or are fans and loyal followers perhaps even more likely to praise?!

This noble musk, anyway, has disappointed some,
even if due to its solid design and simple beauty a tear seldom escapes.

Anyway, I like "Noble Musc" pretty good,
even if he lacks courage alongside the guerlinade.

Besides, it's more a rose scent than musk full,
the name also raises false hopes and lies quite plainly.

And of course you've often smelled this oriental rose suit,
but that doesn't mean that the pre-commercians automatically cut out this silken dream.

Guerlain just remains Guerlain and does not let himself be completely ragged even with "failures",
maybe you just have to give this pink rose a little more time and pump it more often.

I would have expected a little more maturity and complexity, though,
but luckily it's not as if boredom is degenerating here either.

The tender little rose is just a little younger and more immaculate than hoped,
but the lack of sweetness may even cause some couples to fight for him.

But of course you still have to be honest,
there's not much left under the beautiful glow.

In this noble collection there are certainly better handles,
this creation here would just have done well to add a few more subtle touches.

There are, for example and especially with Narciso Rodriguez, many times better musk scents,
as indicated at the beginning, from Guerlain one expects an upswing into completely different airs.

Conclusion: simple but beautiful - at least if you like roses, musk and saffron, a combination that can be sung backwards by almost any perfume by now and had all kinds of shapes, strengths and variations in its nose. But this is one of the nobler, finer, more portable variations of the theme. Or at least located in the upper third of this subgenre. Although not entirely in accordance with the extremely high expectations and Guerlain's exceptional status..

Fire Dragon Rose
Once again something strong, but unknown to me from the Guerlain fund. The little girl just laughed at me because I wanted to smell roses (and still do).
But THE HERE is not an everyday delicate representative of its genus. It is a spicy-powdery-woody "powerhouse" in which the delicate flower of the rose still sits on its prickly stems. With a lot of "pepper under your butt" and "wood in the hut".
Really dry cedar wood that was sprinkled with saffron powder and serves as food for a fire dragon.
This flies then hissing, slowly burning the wood and with a happy breath over the landscape.
He does not race, quite leisurely and very persevering he uses his fire to give off a powerful scent.
You can smell it from a distance and recognize it by its dark red glow.
Is he good or bad? Neither. Just "fiery." And he comes to those who appreciate his embers. He just flies past the others. But not without leaving a trail of scent to remember.

Nobel amber bedded on roses
Musc Noble, the next episode of Guerlain's Absolus d'Orient, was not included in Parfumo until it was already on the market in France, although I had had a pre-test for a while. Since I had tested it only fleetingly about 2 weeks ago and my first impression was not too positive, I wanted to wait until the fragrance is listed to test it again in peace, what happened today. It is often the case that my expectations denature a fragrance that is actually quite beautiful. So it is here: The 1st EINruck was less good, the 2nd already substantially better!
As the name suggests, the Absolus were originally designed for the Middle East and are tailored to the taste there. So no pussies or Fluffy gourmands, but the other end of the scale. With the naming of the individual smells I had also so my problems: Thus Santal Royal was e.g. the pure label fraud, because I look for the sandalwood up to today. Also Musc Noble is not exactly what the name promises. Nobel yes, musk absent.
The Absolus, by the way, are rumored to be remixed. Ambre Eternel is doomed (Rose Nacrée du Desert from the sister line Les déserts d'Orient) and the series will be completed by Encens Mythique d'Orient and Songe d'un Bois d'Été, with which they both change from the Deserts d'Orient and extend the Absolus to a total of 5 fragrances. Since the Absolus are available at a relatively low price, one wonders, of course, how the pricing of the "newcomers" will be handled. But back to the scent!
Musc Noble could be seen as a mix of Rose Nacrée and Ambre Eternel, because I find borrowings from both. And if the two also fall down in the back, that is also an indication.
The top note, in any case, is a very amber-heavy, heavy rose mix that develops back and forth between soapy and powdery. After about 30 minutes it becomes softer, more tender and sweeter without ever becoming gourmandig. Amber stays. You can tell me a lot now, but Oud is in there, too, otherwise I would have gotten nose blindness and snap breathing at the first, even more negative test. With the 2nd and "full test" I am warned and do not feel the somewhat biting note any more as unpleasant, but wait, until the bites become less, in order to be able to take up then the oriental rose dessert completely in me.
I remain divided, because the Absolus will never become my best friends, I am too much out for "fluffig". But already the way and quality of this fragrance should be appreciated, and in some places I even find it fantastic...powdery-heavy, rose-beautiful and enormous. I'm just not brave enough to wear it permanently. But if you like Ambre Eternel, Rose Nacrée or the Absolus itself-
Do you dare?

warm, rich, oriental and intoxicating: a deluxe fragrance with a suprisingly powerful sillage and a good longevity. Expensive masterpiece.
