Interesting Facts
Jacques Guerlain apparently created this scent already in 1904 and it was meant to coincide with the opening of a new Guerlain store in the Champs-Élysées. However, due to ongoing construction work, the release was postponed for 10 years.
Since February 2014, the historic Baccarat flacon of Champs-Élysées, shaped like a tortoise, is exhibited in the "Hall of Mirrors" of the Maison Guerlain. On request, it is possible to smell the scent (extrait), which has been reconstructed following the original formula.
