'Cause every time I see your bubbly face ...
To start directly: I find this flanker very well done!
Pretty starts this fragrance with a fruity sweet pear. Quickly also jasmine comes out, but of the bright, friendly variety. While the fruity top note moves into the background and is replaced by sweet vanilla, the lavender comes quite intense and gives the good-humored jasmine-pear compote a spiciness, without which this fragrance would have sunk into irrelevance for me. Vanilla I do not smell out explicitly as such, but a warm sweetness is perceptible throughout, which, however, never becomes too much.
What surprised me, however, were the reactions to this fragrance. Hardly sprayed on in the morning, I hear already next to me "Ohhh, THAT smells but now really good!" from someone who could hardly care less about fragrances. "Oh, really that good?", I think, and take another closer sniff. Refreshed later - the longevity isn't so great after all - I hear from a perfume lover "You smell like .... mhh ... Spring!". So at least after application, it turns heads, it seems!
Sophisticated it is not, but it pleases, that's for sure. I understand where the Libre comparisons are coming from, but the vibe is different again, I think. Libre has a bit more edge, where it Sparkling Bouquet is more playful and friendly. In mood, this flanker stays with the original, and also gets closer and closer in drydown. However, it comes less sweet, but more fruity and bubbly.
No revolution, but I had a lot of fun with this sparkling bouquet!
