A "Pistol Whip" is a blow with a pistol, for example during a robbery, as I just learned. A blow with a firearm, hm... That's not out of the bad guy's stupidity, but is probably something like nicely meant under the circumstances. The author refers to a corresponding experience. Afterwards he just smelled something phantom-like - and with the name he also had a play on words in mind, whichever. A crazy story, not least because it leads on a completely wrong track. The only thing that knocks me out of the fragrance is that it's simple and good. I hadn't thought I'd experience such a thing a second time with Heretic (after Jasmine Smoke).
Tuberose with a hint of fruit candy. Tiaré exoticism reminiscent of sun milk. This becomes beautifully creamy-floral, shows a touch of soapiness and a hint of pleasant sweetness. An implied woody background lends depth and separates 'Pistil Whip' from the girlish. Carnation? I can imagine it, but I can just as well let it stay.
That's it - at least for a slow four, five hours. Afterwards the hope for a possibly apart and originally integrated Lapsang Souchong smoking mechanism unfortunately does not come true, I smell rather a slightly musty wood note, as it is nothing fundamentally new to me with this offerer. Only an increasingly older-looking, sweetish dried fruit can stand up to it, accompanied at best by a minimal timid smoke. No doubt, in the early afternoon the end of the active fragrance process is reached. The rest drag on until evening without bothering much.
Conclusion: By renouncing knotted fuss in advance, it goes directly into a fine fragrance that can be called sexy for at least half a day. If it is used to district, however, the project should then be successfully completed (which nothing speaks against from the point of view of the scent!), because the second half falls off quite a bit.
Much better fit for ladies. For friends of such fragrances, the recommendation to test '19 Louanges Profanes' is urgently renewed. He's in a different league. And leaves more time to county.
I thank KingLui for the rehearsal.
