Trim-tight scent for armchair pup
Hi there,
the title of my comment is not intended to devalue the fragrance, but rather to indicate that this fragrance has little to do with sport, but is good for everyone who does not apply it before sport.
Having read all the comments, I cannot decide what to believe for the reader who wants to know something about this fragrance. But what becomes clear is that the fragrance is clearly underrated here. On the one hand, this is probably due to the fact that perceptions and tastes are different and the fragrance might per se be under the radar, because it is available for just 12.99 Euros. Can this be a decent scent? Yes, it can, because this brewery man brings everything with him that is usually not to be expected in this price range. He doesn't smell like the usual drugstore scents, which usually have a classic aftershave note. For me, it also does not smell synthetic, as mentioned here.
Pine, ylang-ylang I cannot perceive and ambergris can be guessed with much benevolence. Right from the start, a very masculine note of cedar and vetiver prevails, which remains throughout the fragrance. But that pretty much says it all here, because the brewery man does not go through a great fragrance development. I miss the citrus freshness I mentioned a bit - maybe this would have made it a sports fragrance after all. As for sillage and shelf life, I'm holding back a bit, because I don't like it anyway, when you smell like an exploded scented pillow.
A similarity to the Braukmann Classic I can only find in the Braukmann DNA. A few days ago I was able to sniff a sample of the Classic and it smells leatherier, spicier and is a perfect match for my father (80). The "Sport" is for me a perfect copy of the Kiton for men. In direct comparison I can hardly see any difference between the two. Also the Kiton behaves similarly in the smell process - hardly a development worth mentioning, but extremely portable, if you like it.
Conclusion: Braukmann Sport is an excellent fragrance not only for everyday use. It actually always works (if you have already shaved) and convinces with an excellent price/performance ratio. With the low price, the bottle is appropriate - it's unlikely to become a collector's item.
