Emarati Oud
A gorgeously multifaceted middle eastern composition orchestrated around 3 main notes: vanilla, dates and oud. Contrary to what the notes may let you believe this isn't by any means a gourmand composition but rather a very rich oriental with lots of depth and perfect balance. Upon application I also detect a bed of white florals after which an intoxicating blast of vanilla takes front row along with the oud. The date notes adds to the depth and dimension to the vanilla but there's no actual sweetness or savory quality which I encountered in other perfumes with this note. The oud note is very prominent throughout the entire transition of the fragrance and is a true delight to smell.
All in all, a wonderful middle eastern composition based around high quality oud, that is different to anything I have tried in terms of olfactory profile.
