I admire the artistry, but it’s a bit too much for me

Where I live there is a type of rose that seems to be present in everyone’s backyard. It’s not elegant, it’s not delicate—it has an almost aggressive green smell that has honey at the heart of it. THAT is the rose that’s in Lustre. It is not well mannered or pretty, but it’s natural and wild. I have not smelled a rose like this in a perfume before and I’m quite impressed. It’s a bit too much for me, since I’m not really that into rose dominant scents unless they’re balanced with another strong note, but I do admire the artistry here.

Rose, nothing but Rose

Most of the so-called rose scents do not smell of rose. With Lustre it's different. A radiant, 100% natural rose, just a little supported with few, barely noticeable other notes. The citrus note is of the kind that many damask roses have in nature. A little gentle incense is added at the end. Otherwise, the fragrance is completely linear, simply rose all the time. You have to want that, otherwise it gets boring. The whole thing is intense, sunny, airy and silky. Durability over 6 hours (and that with 100% natural materials).
