Organic muesli to go
Sigh, I am an absolutely nature-loving person, love the fresh air outside, especially the forest, and nutritionally, with few exceptions, only what can show an organic label, preferably from Germany. But when it comes to perfume? Somehow I can't find the right approach to natural fragrances, as much as I would like to like them. Because what feels better than a perfume that contains only natural ingredients.
The US brand House of Matriarch is known for natural fragrances and is also very popular here within the community. Since the Coco Blanc of the fragrance notes already goes in principle in my direction, I thought to myself, which would be worth a try. What I get here, smells really very nice, but the very big enthusiasm just does not want to adjust.
Why is that so? Well, what I smell reminds me of the smell when I enter my favorite farm store. I get a lot of wood, very natural and fine, but just not like in a perfume, but rather it smells like what it smells like in a store that sells grains, fruits and vegetables, natural soaps and many other healthy things. I like this smell, which gradually gets more depth and sweetness. It makes me think of a delicious, healthy organic cereal. With a bit of fresh fruit, with dried coconut flakes and apricots and maybe a hint of white chocolate. Of course, the fair trade one from Gepa, which, if I'm honest, I don't really like eating either. Even when it comes to chocolate, I tend to reach for classic brands rather than anything particularly fair and healthy. The reason: The taste is simply better in my opinion.
What can I say Yes, this is a nice scent, which I can also imagine as a room spray well, if I want to bring a touch of organic farm and organic cereals in my home. It lifts the spirits, it feels healthy and fine, like a vacation on the farm with delicious food. But do I want to smell like that? Honestly? No. There are certain perfumes that bring such an eco touch and that I also appreciate and wear. For example, Sticky Cake by Comme des Garcons with its cereal note. But here the iris clearly dominates at the end and we have just a fragrance after perfume and not after organic market with cereal corner. And that's what makes the difference for me.
Nevertheless, I very much hope one day to find the natural fragrance that suits me. I'm also sure there is somewhere. Coco Blanc, however, it is not.
Dear thanks to Andrula for the test opportunity.
