At night, alone in the forest... one discovers all sorts of mysteries!
Soo, actually this commi should have been here yesterday, but I found it inappropriate to write a commi exactly at that time, which a significant landmark might have been destroyed completely, because I often fool around in my lyrics, so I took it back and postponed it to today... Fortunately, the basic structure of the over 800 year old building could be saved despite major damage, and that's a start! Let's see how quickly the renovation work will be carried out - after all, more than half a billion euros have already been collected for the renovation! Well then, now for the comment!

Yeah, my title says it all. I think, however, that it is never a good idea to go alone into the forest, especially at night. Apart from potentially dangerous animals and crazy people, there is always the danger of traipsing against trees :D
A forest has a mysterious charisma during the day, but at night everything seems more mysterious than ever. Despite all the dangers, one would like to go inside and discover things one would otherwise never see. Alleged mythical creatures like unicorns, which are otherwise only known from the rare knight sport packages; pink cats with bushy fur and shining eyes; elves (in tight clothes, yes yes must be :D); Venus fly traps as big as cars that can eat people; chocolate that grows on trees or also treasures like the Nazi gold that everyone is after.

Be that as it may, I'm telling you today about the scent "Sacre Noir" by House of Matriarch, which means holy black and makes me think of a dark but mysterious forest through its dark forest notes.

The fragrance:
The fragrance begins with darkly scented forest notes. Of course, it is always difficult to imagine how a "dark forest" might smell now, but believe me, when you spray the scent, you will notice that the scent is "dark". Anyway, it smells of great, earthy and green forest smells, mixed with wonderful resins, first of all mastic, as well as woods, from which one can smell the juniper and the cypress best at the beginning. In the background there is a nice little sweetness, I don't know where it comes from, but for me the sweetness smells like a mix of amber, pink pepper and the sweet parts of the resin scents like incense.
A little later it still smells of forest, but the fragrance is now a little more woody and resinous. Now you can also smell Oud, which has been dosed quite well and despite its strength doesn't really come to the fore above all other fragrances, where I hope it stays that way. Otherwise, there are still sweet scents, which are nice and especially to the resinous scents like frankincense well match. Balsamic scents give the fragrance a softer impression and general herbaceous scents that cannot be further defined (but remind a little of rosemary) increase the feeling of a forest.
Much later, the resinous notes become much stronger, while the herbaceous and green scents lose intensity. The woody notes lose minimal strength and the oud remains basically the same, so it doesn't get much more intense. The later base therefore smells more like incense and myrrh and similar resinous scents with a little sweetness and a warm aura.
I think Sacre Noir is a pretty good autumn scent!

The Sillage and the shelf life:
The Sillage is good, so it should be easy to smell. You are sprayed into a nice, but not very intrusive fragrance (unless you overdo it with the dosage and spray from top to bottom!). The durability is also quite good with almost ten hours.

The bottle:
The bottle is cylindrical and dark blue. At the upper end it bends slightly diagonally upwards. It is surrounded by a continuous, glossy gold-plated label with the name, brand, logo and pattern as if it were the cover or a drawing from a Dan Brown book. The lid is cylindrical and gold-plated and also shows the pattern from the label. A beautiful, slightly mysterious bottle.

Soo... that was Sacre Noir. If you should have often read in the statements that the scent would smell of a forest, then this is indeed true, even if the name might initially suggest something ecclesiastical or religious in general. But the fragrance smells like a great combination of resins and herbaceous green scents. In addition he has as described this "dark" charisma, which makes you think of a forest at night (if you don't have to think of sacred things like church or something).

The type of fragrance belongs to me in autumn and winter and is equally suitable for both sexes. You could use it in your spare time, but also in the evening (but it's not a club/disco scent :D). Or you use it when you do a role play evening (yes,... I bet, some people think about dirty now, don't they? :D). I think I should use the scent as well when I play a game online like The Elder Scrolls Online and with my Khajiit character (... this is a character of a... KATZENRASSE!!!!! Is something so typical of me? But hey, I have an orc character, too! But still cool that there are cat breeds in the game that you can play :D) roam through the woods in the game :D

Anyway, the scent is very recommendable and smells different if you like resinous and woody scents. So a test might be worth it!

So, with that I came again to the end and wish you all a nice evening :)
