Rosie the Riveter
First of all, I must confess: I don't like tuberose very much. I mean the typical tuberose scents. They have something pompous-fatty for me, and I can only bear them for a short time. But there are also other tuberoses. Mostly you write "no typical tuberose", and they are my case.
Tubereuse Maléfique is one of those. I have a picture of this fragrance: a young woman with a work overalls on an American propaganda poster, Rosie the Riveter, the famous "We can do it" girl. It smells a bit like "Fracas" and very much like petrol or machine oil. She works like a man, and she's proud of it. That's how he smells to me at first. Frowns.
Fortunately, it soon becomes creamier, rounder and a little sweeter, but it is not sticky-sweet - thanks to vetiver, wood notes and civet, the fragrance remains somewhat tart and green. I think it's very beautiful!
