a Sunday in bed
I had had this fragrance in mind for a long time, but Francesca di Massimo, when I asked her last year, confirmed that Europe could not expect this very personal birthday present in a bottle for Dottore Giovanni di Massimo (born 1941), the head of "I Profumi di Firenze", until April 2020.
Until then "Chiara 41" was only available in America or a sampler as a supplement to a fragrance order via Francesca herself.
Of course I became curious: the advertisement for it appeared so wonderfully feminine and floating - it literally called my name.
So Gelis and I, who share some facebook scent entries, speculated whether we would like this creation Because we have also been exchanging information behind the scenes at Profumo for a long time.
Once again, it turned out that it is very rare to find a match of scent between the two of us. This is especially noticeable in the lighter compositions.
Mostly the scents that develop so wonderfully with me and chatting with a smile are almost meaningless with her: as if we were talking about two completely different beings.

But here it develops its tender, embracing effect, like a soft cuddly scented blanket. Even me, where I like to be somewhat crossed with him, he successfully caresses this time; skilfully exploiting the lingering mint note for himself.
I can't find out who is using whom here: but I don't really care either.
The scent result is already very homely and the stability that is still missing is already announced by incense.
Not one of these dark, resinous-biting incense varieties: no, a light - yes, almost transcendental - incense underlines the spicy herbs and grounds their lightness.
