Now I have found "my" clean scent!
Admittedly, clean/laundry fragrances are not my preferred direction in perfume. I like this typical clean scent, but in the end you pay way too much and you don't get anything that you don't get with normal detergents. And if it smells too much like soap, I don't like it either.

It's different with Musc Bleu. Of course, we also have this very characteristic white musk smell. Even if there's nothing about it in the pyramid of scents. There must be a lot of it. But neroli and violet give it a really nice fresh and flowery note. And I don't mean that detergent kind of flowery. The bottom line is that what makes Musc Bleu better and more wearable for me than comparable fragrances is that it doesn't smell like detergent, but like perfume. Sillage, however, is already quite close to the skin after one hour, but the durability is also much better than with comparable fragrances. 3 sprayers accompanied me through the whole day. But I could imagine that it looks different in colder weather.

I did not detect any odour development either. I would recommend Musc Bleu for everyone who likes to wear clean scents, but who wants to smell more than "just" detergent

Spicy Moss
Hmm... Il Profvmo... I often have difficulties getting used to these scents, because of the few scents I had tested so far, I found at least half of them only so la la or even below average... maybe it was bad luck, as always, that I didn't get some of them so great scents for me, but they say that you shouldn't give up a brand right away... or? :D

Just as I hope you didn't give up on me and still hope that I won't write so much nonsense here (what will NEVER happen, hey hey hey), so I won't give up Il Profvmo and continue testing :D

So let's see! Musc, or musk, sounds good as always. Bleu is blue and therefore sounds fresh... even if I have to think of Cordon Bleu when I say :DD
Of course some will now say that you should eat rather loose meals on hot days.... and that's probably true.... but you know how it is: It could still be as hot as anything else and you would still throw on the grill, after all tons of sausages and other "meat stuff" want to be eaten,... um, unless you're a vegetarian of course :D
of course On the other hand... with over 32 or 33 degrees the fun already stops for me, aaaargh, it is sooo hot here!!!!!! I don't want to get the heat of the grill!!

Anyway, let's get to the smell!

The Scent:
Hmm... the fragrance has a somewhat austere, almost detergent like beginning. This will subside in the next few moments, but still remains quite special for a short while. Afterwards I mainly perceive mossy scents of moss and above all oak moss. In addition, there are loose, flowery-sweet notes with a touch of powdery aura, these are probably the violets, because these always seem sweetish-powdery to me.
The special from the beginning no longer smells severe or pungent and now looks more like a spicy side note to the otherwise fresh scent, and also blends well with the burgeoning woody scents. Light roses will be added later.
By the way, I could only perceive the Neroli very little, the scent comes and goes, but disappears completely to the base. But the musk (even if it should not be listed in the fragrance pyramid now, although the fragrance was named after this fragrance!!!) you can smell very well especially in the base, which has a dark, beautiful sweetness and even looks a little clean. Much later (after a few hours) the scent smells almost only earthy through the patchouli.

Sillage and durability:
The Sillage is above average, by that I mean that one can smell the smell on normal distance a (short) while well and that possibly, depending upon dosage, even a small smell cloud remains.
The shelf life is okay, because the fragrance lasted about seven or eight hours with me.

The flacon:
The bottle is rectangular and filled with a light fragrance. The elaborate label at the front seems to be made of a fabric, looks good and you can see the name of the fragrance, among other things. The label looks as if it were a window from a temple or an antique building, reinforced by the gilded and columnar lid. I find Il Profvmo's bottles generally successful, even if they should look quite simple at first glance.

So this fragrance here is already more successful than most of the Il Profvmo fragrances I know so far. Even if he should rather start "special", he still looks quite nice later. The spicy, however, does not make the fragrance suitable for midsummer, yet on warm days it looks quite nice as a day fragrance, which you don't always get to smell like that. And yes, I meant "warm" days, and no days when it is hotter than in hell!

Even though it is spicy, towards the end it is rather gentler and even a little cleaner. I think that Musc Bleu has become a very nice fragrance that musk fans in particular should take a look at.

And the floor wax greets you forever
I can still remember how it smelled in school back in the seventies. In the morning, when entering the building for the first time, the "scent" was particularly noticeable, because the nose was still "fresh". With the duration of the stay the sense of smell decreased as well. Just getting used to it.
That was a smell of soapy water, "cleanliness" and floor polish, which was still applied weekly with so-called "blockers" and "massaged" into the floor. This always shone like a bacon rind and then smelled for a long time.
And I can find that scent again in Musc Bleu. It has a somehow "soapy" top note, which later takes on a "waxy" tone. I can't say exactly what ingredient that's causing. But I guess the interplay of Ylang Ylang with something "black currant like" and scented geranium.
The "musk" also looks like the one used to scent detergents.
A mixture of synthetics and "cleanliness". The scent of "Musc Bleu" is very bright, almost too bright and slightly biting, like the floor polish that is still used today with "heavy equipment" in long corridors of schools and offices.
This is all MY PERSONAL impression and should not discourage anyone from using the fragrance when they like it.

Like a Bridge Over Troubled Waters
Musc Bleu is sheer white clean sort powdery musk perfection. When I need a break from all the floral, citrus, leather, spice, rubber, toner ink fragrances I've been exploring lately- Musc Bleu is here for me. Imagine Jovan's "White Musk", Elizabeth Arden's "True Love" expertly blended with a soothing sweet Ylang ylang note and a touch of clean geranium and dab of sweet sandalwood. This is powdery, comfortable, perfect if you love that famous clean white musk from the Body shop, Jovan or Ashley, but you want something less common and more niche. Musc Bleu takes that base and expands it a bit of airiness and comforting baby soft sweetness. This is well made and worth every penny yet it is a tender sheer musk like a set of fresh clean white flannel sheets on a cool evening. This is one of only maybe 2-3 scents that I can occasionally wear to bed without feeling agitated and headachy in the morning. It is the scent of clean sweet dreams and fluffy puppies. It last for approximately 8-10 hours, but at low silage of 1-3 (

My favorite dreamy musc scent out there
On my skin the Musc Bleu is fabulously clean and sweet--not candy sweet but ever so softly floral. Fresh, lovely and clean. It never turns on me. Hands down the best musc I've tried. I have spent years looking for a 'clean' fragrance and this is the one. There is nothing childish or cheap about this musc. I get the dreaded soapy note only when I've been sampling other scents and my chemistry is off. This scent is sweet heaven in a bottle for me.
