Mossaic (Warning: bad play on words)
I see a moss covered stone lying in the forest. Dew drops lying on the moss as the morning mist slowly withdraws. The stone is set in a small stream, so that it is sufficiently washed by spring water. The smell of cold forest air is sensable.

I encounter the scent at first as very bitter, herbaceous and mossy. So a rather unpleasant smell of cold forest-rot. Well this is life, it operates in the forest. Therefore, very raw, but not really pleasing to my nose. This impression has increasingly solidified during the test, while my original impression of foaming sparkling water fades in the background. At the very beginning I found "Mosaic" quite fresh and citrusy. It is still there, but not as much as before. It comes out again only when this moss impression has largely dissipated. The scent is very clear and transparent, elusive, yet sensed long and discreet.

How fitting that this novel is set in Friedrichsbad in Baden-Baden. Please forgive me the geographical inaccuracy, since I do not know my way around there, but it seems only a few kilometers to the forest, so that my association does not appear so far-fetched.

It is not a difficult scent as "Bull's Blood" or "L'Orchidee Terrible", which were discussed very controversial. I think "Mosaic" may be well liked, because it is unusual, but not strenuous if you like moss. It is similarly interesting as "The Soft Lawn", as it represents something that is not easy to represent with notes such as limestone and artesian well. However, you feel transported in this scenario right away. Wet, cold stones coated with moss make "Mo(s)saic" a cool fragrance for the grey season. A raw natural fragrance and another scent of Josh Meyer, which exactly matches his imaginary world.
