I really liked this fragrance both at the time of sample and both at the dry-down stage, when I had let it sit for several hours after having been to the shop. At first it seemed a very unusual vanilla fragrance with a tone of biscuit that immediately transitioned to a sweet coffee note, with hints of wood that prevent it from going blatantly gourmand and edible either in the opening or in the drydown. The magic of this product happens when it dries however: the beautiful and smoky cashmeran comes through rendering differently in smell and intensity depending on the wearer. I suspect that there are some musk-like molecules, artificial or not, that were carefully inserted for such a nice effect. On my skin it dries down like a smoky fragrance from the Black Afgano family that has been diluted with one of the escentric molecule perfumes with addition of vanilla. Not too cloying so much so that you can pull it off during summer evenings.
