Suspense guaranteed!
What reads first like so one of many "Alltagswässerchen" on the basis of the above fragrance pyramid, turns out smelled as quite different.
Already the start has so much to offer. Except for the tangerine, I can perceive quite other fragrances. Something spicy like thyme. Gar 2 varieties of it: "lemon thyme" and "rose thyme" , all both with the typical green, slightly tart aftertaste.
And as if that would probably not be the only unwritten surprise, suddenly a marine "world" emerges, which I would hardly have expected here. The "marine" varies between Mediterranean and cool "North Sea", depending on how "the wind just blows"... Driftwoods, soaked with a slightly salty note, float by. From somewhere gentle lavender scent blows in. And then subtly resonates in the heart of the fragrance, which is characterized by powerful and at the same time fruity-tart flowers. Quite delicately sweet hints from afar.
At times it reminds of the "Machart" to L'Eau Bleue d'Issey pour Homme , but in lighter tones. Could this be due to the spicy-balsamic woods, which then join in after a while? It is quite possible that the "thyme-like" and the fine lavender play a role.
In any case, with this perky "Japanese" some tension is guaranteed in the course. Boredom? NOT with this beautiful "Issey" :-))
