J. G. Mouson & Co., Frankfurt, founded in 1843
In this very interesting article (see link below*) about the history of the traditional Frankfurt company J. G. Mouson & Co. a product catalog from 1898 is mentioned, which already lists the fragrance Tai Tai at that time.
in 1898, the Mouson company had no fewer than 600 items on offer. The famous Mouson cream was launched in 1912.
The famous Mousonturm, an expressionist building dating from 1926, still stands in Frankfurt today. The impressive building is now a cultural center and houses a theater, among other things.
in 1972, the Mouson family sold the family business, officially ending its history.
Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to add Tai Tai to my collection, but it won't be long now. I will provide the fragrance description in due course...
