All inclusive: swimming pool + cocktail bar - but plumber required
One Million in blue, at least that's my association so far. The sweetness and fruit, which are used here throughout straight but never exaggerated or unpleasant, remind me already very much of the bestseller of PR. Complementing this familiar perception are the namesake blue and aquatic, rounded out by fresh and citrusy notes. A total package, which I find so very pleasant - even if initially somewhat synthetic and demanding.

The opening is quite tough, you have to go through it. To speak of "toilet stone" or "toilet cleaner" I find, however, somewhat unfair, gives the harsh first impression but after a certain time and becomes much more pleasant, some patience is worthwhile here. The scent is as often described here quite linear, big surprises do not expect one after the first 15 minutes. The durability amounts to very good 8h + for me, the sillage is also above average, you are definitely noticed and you smell it yourself throughout.

In contrast to the many modern blue à la Dylan Blue, Y, etc. I feel Story Blue overall as something friendlier, looser, more informal; formal and office he can as I think nevertheless quite! Due to the sweet-fruit-aquatic-citric-fresh-combination Story Blue seems to me to be a very flexible fragrance and suitable for a wide variety of occasions. Especially but on a relaxed summer day with family or friends he will certainly shine by its open nature and know how to please.

My only shortcoming would be the disastrous spray mechanism.... The idea to fix the spray head by a rail rigidly in the plastic cover is good, the implementation unfortunately rather less. Constantly twists the spray head and you spray only the plastic, there is not infrequently ne huge mess ...
-> Tip for hobbyists: With a hot carpet knife a targeted vertical cut through the plastic and then remove the cover. Does not look good, but improves the spray result immensely - beautiful cloud instead of splashing and spilling.

Conclusion: great fragrance, especially for spring and summer, with very good performance and for very little money. Despite the mentioned partial parallels to PR's 1M, I feel Bogart's Story Blue as less youthful and quite suitable for older. Who gets along with his kind is rewarded with a great fragrance!

Powder detergent. An attempt to save his life
Bogart's "story" line doesn't go over well here Since it is very cheap to buy online, I liked the previous Bogarts well to very well and I am looking for the controversy, I ordered it last winter and stored it in a cool place for a few months. Then in spring the first test. Immediately I notice this characteristic Bogart basic chord, as it appears for example also Silver Scent, Story Red, even in Riviera Nights. It's just cleaner, more basic, smoother here. Soon after spraying on my over the whole scent course (which scent course? Linear as only anything!) my association remains the same: detergent. Definitely detergent. I can't pinpoint a specific brand, but it's definitely detergent. Enriched with a mix of artificial cherry, grape and lavender aromas
Citric? No. At most for a few seconds after spraying. Although I would refrain from smelling for the first 30 seconds anyway Aquatic? An arm-to-arm comparison with DEM aquatic EdT, Cool Water, shows Yeah, there is something. While Cool Water smells to me more real, more natural, "meadow by the water" or rather: "trees by a lake", I have a comic of a shore scene in front of me in Story Blue. Plastic-surface-like.

It lasts for a long time, not extremely long, but for an EdT for the warmer months already really good. The Sillage is constant over a long time at about arm's length.

The breath test (a little 1h after spraying on - I do it on the back of my hand - breathe on it and then smell it very close): No change in the otherwise perceived scent.

The dark blue of the bottle matches my sense of smell well. Because of the association with detergent, I also find it whitish-powdery, the colour of detergent powder. Yes, powder. Not liquid detergent. It smells different: creamy, thick, jasmine
I find it difficult to specify a certain age for which he is particularly suitable. Maybe younger men like it less, because it lacks both the intense sweetness and this currently so popular (pineapple) fruitiness. And it is certainly not a very sophisticated fragrance. It is neither a crow-pleaser nor an insider tip for seekers of the extraordinary scent. It simply smells synthetic, clean, blue, smooth, Bogart-like and unlike most summer scents.

For me from spring to late summer as a change to citric, aquatic or fruity scents, especially in rather humid weather and when I am on the road and do not want to spray again after 2 hours.

And just ordered a backup bottle and stored in a cool place.

Penetrant
When I was able to get the fragrance for a few lousy euros, I was tempted to make a blind buy, also because of the comments on the great durability and the keywords aquatic & citric, I was just looking for a summer fragrance.
Everything that is said about the durability and sillage is 100% correct. Unfortunately, Story Blue smells 1:1 like any random toilet air freshener with any generic name à la "Atlantic Breeze" or something. When I had to paint a garage roof in summer at 35 degrees Celsius, I learned to appreciate the scent. On that occasion, my other perfumes would surely have gone down on their knees - but not the Bogart. But on the remaining 364 days of the year I would find it penetrating & cheap.
Addendum: Later on I saw some Adidas scent on the grab table at DM, which smelled exactly the same (I can't remember the name), but even with grab table discount it cost even more than I paid for the Bogart. In this respect it has perhaps a right to exist as a price-performance winner

Less than usual
medium or less than medium perfume of bogart's . Bogart Story is a strange line,a confused mix of notes that create a very poor result,Blue is a fresh but harsh mix of citruses and some green notes, maybe lavander too.Not total bad,but it was not a good outing either.

Linear freshie with very good performance
In Story Blue, the blue is more of a fresh, cool, rather synthetic blue. No associations with the sea, rather with cold mountain water.
Perhaps a trivial fragrance for some people and possibly too synthetic. For me, however, it is a real "clean man" fragrance, which admittedly shows hardly any fragrance progression but performs very well for a freshie and is not overly citrusy.
I like it, unfortunately it's hard to find nowadays.
