Fruity Fragrances 1 of 4: The Green Tea.
My local flour maker has a display of "test tubes" at the very bottom of the shelf. "Fruity Fragrances", made by Jean-Paul Grand. Doesn't mean anything to me. I'm new to the fragrance world. But at least there is a perfumer responsible by name: Dominique Preissas, and she has - as I read here at parfumo.de - designed serious fragrances, including Jaguar Classic Black and Classic Gold. At 15ml for 1,99 EUR I dare to buy a tube of "Sweet Vanilla" and don't suspect anything good. This much should be anticipated: The next day I also bought the "Coconut", the "Exotic Mango" and the "Green Tea", which is what this is all about. (Besides those four, there are a few other scents listed, but I haven't found and tested them yet.)
The "Green Tea" smells citrusy and spicy. That's the top note. This is fun. But then not much happens in the further course. The lack of development would not be bad at all, because this note of green iced tea has something. Absolutely! But the only development is unfortunately: top note, a little heart note and then duck and gone.
Nice to have made his acquaintance, but unfortunately he is a bit weak on the chest. I have then decided to use him up as a room fragrance. Since he makes a good figure, and for the money it was worth the try.
