Ma Liberté by Jean Patou

Ma Liberté 1987

Free but not Easy

On paper, this is a lemon meringue Cologne de Toilette. A full bodied citrus that could be worn in summer.
There are enough contrasts in this skein of powdery Amber to give it bouyancy, even though it tends to be dry, but in practice it doesn’t quite work on me, my skin brings it out in a rather strange way.
I doubt Jean Kerléo meant this to slide off into some minor key, so I have to be
philosophic and say, I am for Ma Liberté – but – it isn’t for me.
