Nothing to rave about

Usually I am not a frag snob, and I find that low priced eau de perfumes can be just as great as higher end perfumes, and that not every high end frag is great just because of a great price tag. However, most fragrances from this company have disappointed me greatly and have been gifted to friends and colleagues, because they are so unpleasant for me. This I will use up, but once gone, I hope to remember never to consider any fragrance from this perfume house in my collection again, they are rather two dimensional in a world of so many three dimensional frags. Just not interesting and captivating enough. Would consider to swap.

Very nice copy of "Le paradis de Nina" by Nina Ricci. Fruity, sweet, girly. Good staying-power included! A real bargain, bought it yesterday at the price of 3 (three!) Euros in a local drugstore. Smelling pretty doesn't always mean having to spend loads of money.

Sweetness and Light

This is a new favourite, especially for daytime. I swear fairies had something to do with creating this: it's so pretty and nice. It's fresh, sweet, feminine and playful. This fragrance is often compared to Nina by Nina Ricci, but this is lighter and more powdery and floral on me than Nina. The fruity and floral notes mixed with the marzipan/ almond take prominence while the other base notes keep it from being cloying. The sillage is average, but this lasted through an eight-hour shift on me. (I had a shower shortly after getting home, so it might last even longer.) The low price and cute bottle are bonuses.
