Prejudices over prejudices, nothing but prejudices!
A few weeks ago on Notino. I just wanted to press the buy button, when I noticed that a few Euros are still missing for free shipping. Now I prefer to have something in my hand instead of simply "adding" money and so I bought La Voile Rouge by Jeanne Arthes as a very inexpensive "gap filler". Quickly selected and without great expectations but in the certainty that the pretty red bottle will tear anything from the female family members, I put the box in my gift box. Besides, it's Christmas soon.

These days the perfume box caught my eye again. Not really able to speak French, I associated a kind of Noah's Ark with the bottle, which for me was feminine, or a pelvis that was joyful to give birth, as well as sweeping female hips, but in any case feminine! After a short research on Parfumo I knew: masculine, red sail, men's fragrance. Well, I thought, why not a perfume from the environment of the Loveparade, there also seem to be cool guys and expected, despite the scents, a rather sweet, woody-sticky little water.

The fragrance starts off herb and lemon with a slight freshness at the beginning and a little dry sweetness immediately afterwards. Then it quickly becomes coniferous and earthy-floral. The intensity of the fragrance continues to rise towards earthy-harsh, very beautiful herbaceous-mossy notes and a little more sweetness. In the further course the woody moss gains more and more earthy-conifer dominance whereby a balsamic wood contributes the fine, cosy warmth. A really intense fragrance experience and so not predictable!

As to the classification of the perfume in the category Fougère or Chypre, I am now sure that both of them have combined the best in the fragrance and we enjoy it one way or the other. Also this was so for me not foreseeable.

With big chance one buys in rare cases such an excellent perfume for so small money, but that then also still a very good durability and an above average silage is with it, that borders already on much luck. Those who like this fragrance can apply it without hesitation because it is pleasant with classic accents and has nothing aggressive. A good friend who likes to accompany you.
