It is part of a comprehensive PR strategy that celebrities also offer all kinds of products under their name - Jennifer Lopez's fragrance line is a concrete example of this, particularly in the US.

Sporty and functional fashion has been offered by "JLO" since 2001, along many more successful fragrances with the help of a dozen renowned perfumers a year after the brand's launching. Initially, only women's fragrances were offered by "JLO". The fragrance "Glow" (or "Glow by JLO"), which has a floral-fresh character, was her debut perfume that helped her dominate the industry in 2002, followed by "Still" (fresh-spicy) in 2003, and "Live" (tropical-sweet) in 2005.

The delicately and playfully designed bottles are also part of JLO's success story. Each bottle is designed according to the fragrance’s aroma.

Several fragrances and a skincare line later, the brand also introduced "Deseo for Men" - a fragrance for men in 2008. Until today, JLO is considered the queen of the scent industry, completely outselling other celebrities with a line of more than 30 fragrances from 2002 to 2021.
