A sunshine sherbet?
Hello you comment gawkers! Welcome to a new fragrance description from me. If you were hoping for a special scent today, something noble, niche or something like that, you might be disappointed, because I will introduce a very simple scent. Namely Sun Sorbet by Jil Sander, but sometimes simple mainstream scents can be quite nice, so stay tuned and watch... or read... hmm... I should maybe really start a YouTube channel or something, mu ha ha ha ha :DD
Whatever. So Sun Sorbet. Sun sherbet? Sun-flavored ice cream? How can you imagine that right now? Well, either it's an ice cream, but it's as hot as the sun (I don't care if that's impossible, just imagine it, but no, once again nobody here has fancy fantasies and yes, I can fantasize about other things than just ladies all the time... tssss... What people think about me...!). Or maybe it is an ice cream that reminds you of the sun in general, maybe because it smells like sun cream? I know that especially many ladies here are crazy about sunscreen scents, so why not an ice cream with such a scent? Hey hey...
Anyway, the greater probability is also the most boring explanation: it is a fragrance that simply reminds one of ice cream, because it is summer, and one likes to stuff oneself with this airy and tasty mass. Ice cream is the chocolate of the summer, so to speak!
Well, on paper everything sounds quite nice and harmless, let's see how the scent is so real!
For now it was, because the fragrance was composed quite simply and therefore it smells for a while only of jasmine and currants. What I'm struggling with is whether the currants smell like a sorbet,... well, it could be, it's definitely fruity and I think the sweetness of jasmine makes it smell a bit like ice cream.
In the base it smells the same as before, the scent does not change much. However, the sultriness gradually goes away, which is very pleasant. In addition, the sweetness of the fragrance increases a bit and everything smells pleasantly powdery-creamy. An unspectacular, but nevertheless nice scent.
The bottle! The flacon is quite simple. It is square, has a red tinted glass with the typical Jil Sander inscription on it and closes with a large white plastic cap. Nothing special on the whole, but the color of the bottle is quite nice after all. Might have a little confusion with Jil Sander Sunrise.
I mention this because this fragrance has not been around for some time. Sure, you can find it from time to time at some online shops, especially on Ebay or the Amazon marketplace, but because it doesn't exist anymore, it usually costs between 50-100 Euros by now, and I recommend not to pay such prices under any circumstances, because the scent isn't really worth these prices and as I said, even Jil Sander himself has enough similar alternatives. For example, just smell through various "Sun" scents by Jil Sander (or, if they still exist, the "Pop" scents of the same brand, like "Arty Pink" and so on,... I really liked the Coral Pop, by the way! And these scents are also cheap, so you can use them for a summer.
Well, that's it. And hey, I managed to describe another pure summer scent without using the term "bikini babes" (this just doesn't count!! :D), hey he.
Well then, have a nice evening and see you later :)

Well, on paper everything sounds quite nice and harmless, let's see how the scent is so real!
The smell:
The fragrance begins slightly citric, but above all with a creamy powdery currant note. The citrusy one fades away very quickly, but there is a rather intense sweetness of jasmine. In the background there are probably indeterminable flowers, or something similar, because in the heart note the fragrance seems a little bit sultry despite its loose nature.

The Sillage and the durability:
The Sillage is rather weak, even if the scent should later appear sultrier and therefore more intense. So it will only be smellable from close up, and only for a short time. The shelf life is also not as long, but it is not quite as short as other summer scents. I would say three to four hours. The bottle! The flacon is quite simple. It is square, has a red tinted glass with the typical Jil Sander inscription on it and closes with a large white plastic cap. Nothing special on the whole, but the color of the bottle is quite nice after all. Might have a little confusion with Jil Sander Sunrise.
Conclusion:
Soo... as expected Sun Sorbet has become a rather simple fragrance, which also comes across quite unspectacular. Of course all this is not bad now, as it smells quite nice after all. However, it belongs to those scents that you don't necessarily keep in your head and that might be quickly forgotten and where you're not necessarily sad when it doesn't exist anymore, as there are enough alternatives available, even from Jil Sander himself.
