No cocktail...
Once upon a time in Berlin. In the early evening I didn't want to go to the hotel and thought I'd rather drink a cocktail in a bar than watch TV in my room on the couch with a bag of chips. With this in mind, I walked into the first open bar. It was dark and dingy, loud music thundered in the small room, it was very well attended. Students, workers, even managers in their stiff suits and of course somewhat insecure tourists like me, all were welcome here as long as they paid. And I knew immediately that I wouldn't get a cocktail here, never in my life. But I was already inside and so I looked around for a free place at the bar counter. A place was actually free and it was also clear why... Beside it sat some punks. Everyone else kept their safe distance. A dangerous aura... Well, I thought, sat down and ordered a vodka lemon. The punk next to me nods approvingly. That's the story of how I got to know the typical Berlin punk Steve. Now after years, I test the fragrance No Rules and I must immediately remember Steve and laugh. Punk - loud, uncomfortable, rebellious. Everything that Steve and the Jusbox fragrance embody. I smell aldehydes and lemons first, then leather and vinyl. Loud, very loud. No cocktail, a vodka lemon. The idea of punk in a scent. Of course, he shouldn't smell like flowers. And yes, probably only a punk can wear it. But hey, the punk doesn't want to please anyone, he isn't interested in the opinions of the others.
