Perfect sweet cherry

I've already tested a few cherry scents. From cherry liqueur that scratches my nose to children's cough syrup, sweets and cherry lollies, I've tried everything. And I have to say this one is one of my favorites. If I had to choose between Lost Cherry Eau de Parfum and this one, the Kayali would win. I think the mixture of cherry and sweetness is really nice here. I also think the longevity is totally fine. I also find it very nice for layering. I currently like to wear it layered with Casamorati - Italica. Such a beautiful cherry marzipan dream. In general, Kayali fragrances are good for layering, which is why I like them so much.

Delicious dark cherry

I smell an aromatic dark cherry surrounded by the finest chocolate. You could say: a Mon Cherie praline unfolds in front of you and exudes a delicious, I can't say it any other way, delicious scent to bite into. For me, it's perfect for winter and really comes into its own in the cold. I just have to keep sniffing my wrist to fall into this delicious chocolate again and again.

I'm glad I made this blind buy, but I was already pretty sure I was going to like it, and I wasn't disappointed.

I also really like the bottle, I like this modern design and the shape of the bottle. The gold of the writing on this dark red steals the intensity of the fragrance for me.
The longevity is good, but after about 3 hours it becomes a little more skin-like, but that doesn't bother me. I still wear it for a long time and it's enough for me to enjoy it and not let everyone know that I'm in the room. You don't necessarily want that all the time.

Cherries and smoke, true to the name

Many voted that this is similar to Lost Cherry, and I think the cherry note really has the same natural juiciness to it. This is not a sickly cough drop cherry or one that smells like almonds and marzipan, it's really fruity.
The rest of the scent is quite different to me though. Lovefest has a drier, smokier texture, it's not as balsamic and warm as LC. If you're looking for a true dupe, better look elsewhere.

Besides the cherry I also smell a sweet, crunchily caramelized praliné, and a touch of raspberry that rounds out the fruitiness. The base is quite woodsy and seems dry at first, but it also has an undertone of creaminess. I can't identify specific kinds of woods here though. This part of the fragrance has some similarities to Elixir 11 and especially Invite Only Amber. This could be Invite Only's younger, flirtier sister: same roots, more cherry, less spice.
A cloud of soft smoke hovers over the other notes at all times and makes the scent stand out from other cherries.

Compared to most of the Kayali line I find this relatively light and close to the skin. I like the concept of blending sweet, girly, "pink" notes with smooky woods, it really draws me in at times. But in the end I wish the notes were a little more defined and would pop a little more. I love many Kayali perfumes, this one is more of a like to me.

Light cherry

Like some other users, I find that the Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry 48 is very similar to the Tom Ford Lost Cherry.

On my skin, I initially perceive a dark, sweet cherry. Then the fragrance becomes creamy/sweet and a little woody.
The fragrance is not overpowering, rather light. Could be a little stronger in my opinion.
Unfortunately, I no longer notice the fragrance after 2-3 hours

Maraschino Cherry

This is a nice cherry scent if not a little generic as far as cherry notes go. The fruity sweetness of this makes Lovesfest Burning Cherry a year round scent for me though there is some real depth to it that means it can hold its own on colder days too. I actually think it excels as a layering scent vs being worn on its own and I especially enjoy this when layered with bdk Velvet Tonka.

I have a 10 ml and I am enjoying wearing it and I appreciate it's versatility but I think there are plenty of other cherry fragrances on the market that do similar things.
