This fragrance is definitely worth its money!
Since I liked Kenzo Amour very much, I wanted to test this Wariante to see if I liked it as well. As far as I and my nose can remember, Amour was very vanilla in fragrance which I personally prefer very much in fragrances. L'Elixir is also very sweet but in my opinion goes very strongly to the Oriental side because I also noticed it slightly spicy at the beginning. From time to time it also became slightly powdery in the course of scent as well as smoky. I noticed the fruity notes later but that's good because it was much nicer to combine with the gourmand notes. I find the gourmand notes, were more in the foreground which made the whole thing much more interesting and beautiful because it wasn't the gourmand notes that you usually know from other scents. (I think you should test it yourself then you might understand what I meant by the gourmand notes because in my opinion they are neither stubborn nor artificial scents much more they are high-quality.) On the whole I can recommend this fragrance as well as Amour;) It is a nice companion especially now for the cold winter season. Unfortunately it doesn't hold as well as Amour but you can always spray:)
