Drowned log
After the tragic cessation of the production of the ingenious Saffron Amber Cardamom, which was completely incomprehensible to me, I was very excited about the new Korres Saffron and was...disappointed.
It has to be said that all the other Korres scents were nice and pleasant due to the natural production method without toxic chemicals, but they never produced a *respect!* effect for me like the warm and spicy Saffron Amber Cardamom.
Back to the new Saffron Amber:
I feel the assisiation of a slightly burnt piece of wood that has fallen into the water and is sadly drifting away...watery soaked cold wood. A somewhat resinous wood note reminds one of the currently popular oud, so you want to go with the trend.
It's easy to notice a nice saffron note in the background, unfortunately replaced by indefinable artificial flowers.
But the sad thing about this fragrance is actually the drugstore fragrance - berry-flower note, where you can interpret any and no berry.
A rather unspectacular new publication.
