Imperial Nights
...was the title of this lady who came to me in the form of a bottling. The advantage of these great test packages (*wink* to Mrs. Nickhun!) is that I try the samples without any prejudices and only afterwards look at Parfumo, what kind of fragrance it is.
This little lady here is very special She's worked her way up. One does not see or notice her origin. She can keep up with the big boys very well. She gives a lot for little money. (Well, that sounds somehow cheap now and is not meant at all *g*)
The fragrance is well balanced, sweet fruits (I can smell cherry, but not too dominant), light bergamot, so that it doesn't get too sweet, and nice and fresh at the beginning, and liquorice, rose and iris caress the fruits, no nuance comes to the fore, all ingredients are mixed well balanced (with liquorice I had several unpleasant encounters in fragrances, here I would hardly have smelled them out). Only the cherry can be guessed at.
It gets nice and warm thanks to the base and the tonka.
A great fragrance for little money.
I think that is worth a comment, because this fragrance surprised me after all. Not at all a drugstore scent, where the alcohol note at the beginning usually takes your breath away, but a solid, beautiful scent
