Flowers cope mogul
"The Flowers of Krizia" were also in my box of discontinued classics, though of course you have to put that in poor exclamation points at its scarcity. Because unlike quite a few other perfumes in this rare selection, this Krizia fragrance is hardly cried after. But bad fragrances smell quite different. Perhaps it has been a bit too round and inconspicuous for success and fans. Maybe also too kibbly and mossy for some ladies. It's not far from a men's fragrance. Surprising with "flowers" in the title.
With "K de Krizia" or even "Krizia Uomo", the company has built a really soapy-juicy reputation, especially in the 80s, created minor classics that still stoke close fan bases behind. "Fiori di Krizia" never managed to do that - though of course that doesn't mean it stinks when you press the spray head. Rather the opposite. There are soapy powerhouse tank sounds here too, though more floral and mild than you might expect. "Basil flowers" you might call it - a little kitchen, a little front yard, a little forest, a little shower. Not bad, not quite. Lady's beard in delicate. Okay, unfortunately for me, never again. Lacks pizzazz, lacks character. Hurts no one, is a little tough.
Flacon: still completely committed to the 80s
Sillage: medium
Durability: 7 hours - spicy florality
Verdict: the tart, oldschool floral, slightly toned down and understandably unfamiliar. Not great, not necessarily my taste - but respect I can give it fully!
