Rhubarb-blackberry lemonade in the green grass

A delightful fruity green. Even though it's not listed in the notes, this smells so much of rhubarb. The blackberry is also noticeable, but rhubarb even more so. Both are fresh and tart and only slightly sweetened. The fruitiness feels sparkling and almost thirst-quenching. Imagine drinking a homemade berry lemonade on a meadow in the woods and you're close to Herbae. Despite the name, the greenness in this doesn't feel too herbal, it's rather leafy and a little grassy. I'm not sure what nettles really smell like, I'm afraid to sniff them, so I can't say if that note is really there... But I can say that this is a beautiful summer scent with a slight hint of creamy sweetness in the base.

If you want to compare it to other popular fruity scents, this is not as ethereal and sophisticated as a Hermes, but not as sugary as an Escada. It's just uplifting and summery. Strong like, maybe bordering on a love.

If it ain't what it says

With a name like Herbae, I think of something herbaceous, very green without much else going on. All that is Herbae not.
The prelude is very fruity, I perceive here next to the specified bergamot already the blackberry. But not only the fruit, but the whole bush including leaves. Thus, the fragrance is not sweet, but quite slightly green - fits the color of the bottle.
I can also sniff the sage, it underlines the slightly green character very well.
The wild rose holds back nobly.
Sweet grass also mixes with, musk fluff one discovers only if one sniffs very closely.
The fragrance remains soft, light and pleasant, you will never tarnish with it. Great do not stand out either (especially since the sillage is quite restrained), but sometimes you do not want that at all, but simply a fragrance to feel good.
And that is Herbae for me absolutely.
A nice everyday companion for the office or leisure, for the great appearance in the evening it may then already be something more substantial.
