Chewy Ripened Figs
To me this is the solution to those who claim that Premier Figuier is too unisex or even masculine leaning (although, I don't find this personally). Premier Figuier Extrême is a bit warmer, a bit more coconut and a bit more sensuously feminine, IMHO. In Premier Figuier Extrême, there is the same crisp green fig leafy start, the nutty woodiness, the delicate neutral almond milky note and then the dense chewy fig fruit and other dried fruit join the winning Fig leaf, fig branches and sandalwood. I don't know what bloom blossom (Genista canariensis) smells like, but I think it lends a critical haylike sweetness that always reminds me of the fullness of late Summer. All with the added sweet chewiness of Premier Figuier Extrême I find this scent is more feminine, sensual and romantic than the original Premier Figuier. The fig trees, I imagine, are less green and herbal and filled with early Summer's blossoms and leaves, no longer naïve. The dry wood now takes a backseat, to the subtle sweetness of dried fruits, coconut and ripe figs. This is never cloying, but seems fuller and more voluptuous than the original. Where Premier Figuier strikes me as a totally unisex, unusual but fine daytime scent Extrême feels more like an evening scent, or at least a Fall or Winter fragrance for me. Extrême is not louder or longer lasting, but rather the notes are more evolved, ripened to their extreme perfection, succulent chewy and ready for the joyful harvest.
