Beneath the jasmine lies a spicy orange
As so often in this time, I have become aware of the manufacturer La_Bastide_des_Aromes through our beloved platform. Since there is not much to read about it here, I wanted to give it a try. So I quickly searched for the manufacturer's website and found out that everything can be done in French, and that there is an incredibly large number of different fragrance combos. The prices are not too high, and so thanks to simple order processing, also in French, two perfumes came to me.
Immediately to the info: The flacons look quite different now. They are now higher and rectangular, and in the perfume floats a kind of "silk flower". I will upload a photo of it yet. Now to this fragrance:
The two of us had very short start-up difficulties - the first time I sprayed on, he came to me namely something arg stabbing floral over, with almost something old-fashioned hints. But that deceived me.
When testing again over several days, we became good friends, and I learned to appreciate him. In the beginning, the ylang-ylang hits with a tiny bit of orange peel, allspice, and clove. The spicy orange picks up though - it has to, because a top dog called "jasmine" becomes quite present. Little warm vanilla, but more benzoin and opoponax catch the wild jasmine, though, and embed it softly and sweetly, allowing it to rest gently next to the spice orange.
Overall, in the end, a fairly rounded floral-spicy scent for cold and cooler days. Silage is moderate, with a little floral breeze blowing around you at all times. The longevity is high. On the skin about 7 hours, with clothes almost forever...
For me in price - performance absolutely recommendable, and the creations seem to be well thought out. I am pleased to have come across this, I suspect smaller, company.
