Fresh

This is such a bizarre scent a really odd combination of notes that takes some getting used to. Has minty herbal facets, chilli, nutmeg, vetiver, grapefruit and citrus it’s all over the shop. I’m not sure if the perfumer was high when he created it. It’s discordant as hell and even reminds me a little of bug spray. The mint in it is kind of muted and spicy too and not overly cold or bright. It also has a slightly off-putting underlying savoury vegetal smell to it too and is dry and airy and with no sweetness. I know some people love this one and I applaud it’s uniqueness and daring but every time I wear it I’m left perplexed.

Boosting your day

I'm a fan of this fragrance. The first time I used it was in 1998, having been offered on my birthday by an ex-girlfriend.
At first I was surprised by the different and very fresh aroma. I was already regularly using Lacoste Original pour Homme (1984) and expected something similar.
It is in fact a fresh, unique aroma, as some experts in the field say - with a synthetic note.
However, I highly recommend it. It is and will always be part of my collection, not only from the nostalgic side, but also from the quality that it still maintains today.
