A fruity fresh summer scent !
Flacon
You can't say anything negative about the bottle, but you can't say anything really positive either, because it's very simple and by no means creative.

Fragrance
The fragrance is definitely more exciting.
The opening was very fruity, with an innovative rhubarb note, which I personally like very much and which I also find really creative.
Due to the fruity notes of quince and rhubarb, a quite strong sweetness develops in the opening, which becomes a little weaker with time, but nevertheless remains constant. With the sweet-fruity notes already on the spraying, slightly woody masculine notes resonate, which become stronger a few minutes after spraying, but nevertheless remain rather in the background.
Specifically, I smell a peppery note and a cedarwood chord paired with some musk.
Due to the characteristic fruity fresh note of the fragrance, it is definitely a summer fragrance for me, which I wear during the day, but which would also work in the evening (but there are clearly better ones).
To put it in a nutshell, especially with the rhubarb note, which I personally like very much, I find the fragrance really innovative and pleasant.
But it's quite fruity already and I think it's a bit over the target (the compensation by the woody notes isn't enough in my opinion). Still not a bad fragrance, in my opinion even the best Lacoste fragrance. However, I only recommend it if you are a rhubarb fan, as I am, or if you are looking for something really fruity (sweet) for the man in summer. Objectively speaking, the fragrance is a 7 for me, but as a rhubarb fanatic (okay, a bit hyperbolic) an 8 would also be conceivable.

Shelf life
The shelf life is satisfactory for a (Lacoste) fragrance in the price segment, but could be slightly better. With me he can do between 5 and 7 hours on the skin.

Sillage
The Sillage is slightly better than the durability and really surprised me in the test, very pleasant

Underestimated classic with style
Yes it has actually been my very first fragrance. It has never disappointed me and has even earned me a few compliments. For me it is a very underrated men's fragrance. The Lacoste fragrance is especially good for the office. Tangerine and rhubarb is the first thing that comes to mind with this fragrance. It does smell like many other perfumes (The scent style feels familiar when you smell it), however the well rounded rhubarb gives it a delicious sweetness and again makes this scent a little more unique . The fragrance holds its 5-6 hours. The bottle I like well, because it was kept very simple.

Playful orange instead of standard citrus
My latest acquisition. After clicking through YouTube to find a newer spring scent, I came across Lacoste L'Homme as an insider tip. Because I already have Lacoste Pour Homme in my collection and I like its playfulness, I wanted to try it in any case. Especially as I have a weakness for the scent of oranges and grapefruits, they lift my spirits. And orange tends to smell like cleaner less often than lemon.

When the turquoise was now open again despite corona times, I set out to test it. In the end I tested the lemony, super elegant Allure Homme Edition Blanche and Lacoste L'Homme on my skin. Both ingenious fragrances. But since I just needed a mood-lifter and, as I said, I like the scent of oranges and didn't want to overstretch my budget, the Lacoste came in the bag. The Chanel will follow sometime.

Now let's talk about the scent. The opening is fresh and fruity. Instead of the individual fruits (I have no idea how rhubarb smells, since I never eat it) it looks more like a single fruit to me, which smells similar to oranges. The combination of the individual components in the top note is well done.
Quickly you also perceive something warm-sweet-woody.

In the course of time the orange component becomes weaker, but the warm-sweet-woody one stays for a long time and we are supported by the playful orange at the end as well.

With me, the durability is unfortunately only average, the projection unfortunately also. The first hour it is still ok, after that it decomposes well. But it's not so unusual to put it on again with a summer scent.

Tiple F (Fruity/Fine/Fresh)
In my opinion, I smell strong parallels to "Boss Scent." Whether it's just me, no idea. In any case very strong Sillage, for the price really fantastic. And the stability is almost as good. The scent is not bad at all, but if I wear it, I am disturbed after a short time that it is too sweet and above all much too fruity for me. But it's just a matter of taste...With the "fruitiness" Lacoste has it almost always anyway...Somehow I also see him as an all-rounder I would give away. BUT boss Scent would I prefer to buy because this is more appealing to me.

Slightly generic but nice...
Mandarin, ginger, amber, almond and cedar. The drydown places it somewhere between D&G The One and YSL L'Homme. The vibe I get from this is similar to the releases in later years from YSL (Y) and Paco Rabanne (Pure XS), insofar that it won't offend anyone, but is also rather generic - this seems to be the designer trend momentarily. Projection is moderate and longevity somewhere between weak and moderate.

Great office scent though, pleasant and inoffensive.
