A creative tea
A creative tea - that's what my parents called a homemade tea, which was served in the evening in summer. We had a summer cottage (dacha) with a veranda and a small kitchen. There was a gas stove and a big tea kettle. Every evening it was someone else's turn to prepare the tea. The leaves of raspberries, black currants, mint and rhubarb belonged to it, but also strawberries, raspberries or blackberries, depending on the taste of the respective "creator". In my tea the raspberries always had the upper hand. Add two cubes of sugar, which soak up the tea and slowly dissolve - so delicious!
And that's how Kalinka-Malinka smells to me. Malinka means "little raspberry" in Russian. It smells like summer, green leaves and raspberries. The top notes here are also the most beautiful to me Later on, the sweetness is added, and I like that less. This fruity sweetness reminds me of povidl (plum jam) or the filling of Russian "sliva" (plum sweets). I find the first, fresh notes very beautiful and natural, and I wish they had stayed longer on my skin.
A fragrance that for me is a "nice" one, an unobtrusive, bright, pleasant and friendly and at the same time not boring - and very, very Russian. I could do without Povidl, but nobody asked me ... ;-)
