Why did they sprinkle the beautiful flowers with plastic?
La Vie est Belle L'Éclat L'Eau de Toilette starts refreshingly sweet - fruity, but also discreetly citric - herbaceous.

At first you can perceive a sweet and fruity note, which gives the top note something "soft" and is due to the mandarin.

At the same time the mandarin is accompanied by another fruity note, which is responsible for the fact that the top note gets something lightening and comes from the grapefruit.

These two notes are enveloped by an invigorating, upbeat note that gives the top note a pleasantly refreshing feel and stems from pink pepper.

In the background a subtle citric - herbaceous nuance of bergamot can be perceived, which enhances the "refreshing feeling" a little bit
The entire top note is carried by a typical tea-like aura that brings a hint of hibiscus and lotus and gives it something pleasantly exhilarating
Already in the top note a "hunch" can be perceived, which unfortunately becomes even stronger in the heart note.

This constellation is perceptible on my skin for 20 minutes before the heart note unfolds.

Now a tangy, floral and very light note can be perceived, which gives the fragrance a pleasant lightness and is due to the Neroli in combination with the orange blossom - Absolue.

These two notes are enveloped by very pleasant floral notes, which give the fragrance a very intense femininity and come from jasmine absolute.

In the background there is a deep and also engaging floral note, which gives the fragrance a pleasant substance and comes from the Turkish rose.

All this smells amazingly good, but the scent is overshadowed by the hint from the top note, which becomes clearer the closer you smell to the skin:

Namely plastic, which almost completely retracts after 3 hours, but unfortunately not completely.

The heart note is noticeable on my skin for 5 hours before the base asserts itself.

Now you can perceive a very fine and very discreet powdery - flowery note, which gives the fragrance something "beautiful" and is due to the Iris - Concrete.

Also there is a light earthy, sweetish shade perceptible, which provides for a certain depth and is to be owed to the Patchouli.

These two notes are surrounded by a clear and transparent note and originate from the ambroxan in interaction with the musk.

La Vie est Belle L'Éclat L'Eau de Toilette is a pleasant companion in the spring, summer and autumn months for younger and older women who are looking for a light, bright, floral and floral scent that can smell over the breath of plastic
In total the fragrance lasts 8 hours on my skin.

The Sillage is conceived from the outset in such a way that one is perceived clearly at an arm's length and this is also maintained 3 hours in such a way, before it reduces itself in leisurely steps, until the smell finally completely fades away.

An orange day...
I'm in the department store in the perfume department. I'm walking down the aisle bored, trying to find nothing new... "Oh, too bad." I stop at Lancome and grab the bottle from the display area. I think it's really pretty. These protruding honeycombs and the great colouring glitter with my eyes.
I spray on a strip of paper...

Wow.
No reference to La Vie Est Belle... which I don't like at all. It's too sweet and overflowing with flowers.

I perceive a resemblance to Guerlain Teazzurra. A fine tea note. Sweet, yet delicate and controlled. Nothing to slay. Neroli and orange blossom are asking me to my knees... fantastic! Smells like what it looks like: an orange day... sweet, but not La-Vie-Est-Belle-sweet.
Fruity notes that are delicately sweet and smooth. Nothing exaggerated.
Then comes that kick, that certain something. - Every good story takes a 180 degree turn just before the end and surprises the reader with something unpredictable. - So does the Eclat toilet. It's a bit hypothermic in the truest sense of the word, I smell menthol or mint. I inevitably think of Mugler's aura. But I also associate alien here: The scent has a certain something. Ups and downs. But not in the sense of good and bad. No, it has depth, a mysterious scent that's tart and dark. The longer the perfume lingers on skin or clothes, the more the scent comes out. One scents one's surroundings quite well... which is what I wish for when I put on perfume. It lasts now three days on my jacket and has developed a little. Smells heavier and fascinates my nose. I find him very successful!
Well, I'm surprised... After several versions of La Vie Est Belle, a fragrance is released that stands out from the others and I like it. - one should never stop testing and stamping adaptations directly. Sometimes you find something wonderful It's a pity that it hardly attracts attention in the perfumeries because of its continued name. I almost thought it was a classic, too. Watch out: the eau de parfum bottle looks the same, but contains a rosier liquid. I prefer the eau de toilette. Finer, brighter, more beautiful. Matter of taste.

The content would have more chances with its own name and flacon. And for me it is also not a variation of the first one, but independent and definitely different.
Thanks Lancome for "sweet and sexy" to spray on! Beautiful perfume!

.... the longer I think about it: "Jean Paul Gaultier Classique Essence" as a light version. Brilliantly good!

Best LVEB release. Very little resemblance to liquid spray syrup original. Worth seeking it out, sadly discontinued beauty. Sillage +++++

The bottle is a glass art masterpiece but what there's inside is something too sweet-gourmand-synthetic which results too much to my nose.
