Orange tea refreshes and delights
Hello sniffers and welcome to my review of Oranges Bigarades from the exclusive Lancôme fragrance range "Maison Lancôme". I got a sample of this fragrance and I have to say that just from its content (that is, the fragrance notes that are listed) it could fully meet my taste if it was done well.

Because I like... well, I guess I don't really need to point that out anymore, you know I like tea scents, and also scents like oranges, hmm...

Therefore, I test this kind of fragrances especially like, because there could also be something for me in it instead of always just something for you (ladies), when I once again present a women's fragrance (what I always do just for you you ungrateful monsters! :D). And just tea and orange sound great for warm days, as they are now more common in spring (Yes! Is so, even if the last few days were cooler and rainy we are certainly only a stone's throw away from the next heat wave! :D). So I hope the scent is great too, of course! Whereby my feeling is actually positive, because the Maison Lancôme Collection has to offer often good fragrances. So then, we sniff times!

The fragrance:
To begin with, I smell citrusy scents, mainly oranges. These smell of the delicious pulp and have accordingly not this slightly bitter-smelling scent of the peel of these fruits, even if it should say bitter orange here (at least it seems so to me). In addition, there is a wonderful tea note, which you can even smell well, which pleases me, because tea sometimes comes across quite weak.
Pepper provides a little spicy scent note. It's faint, so it's not pungent, but you still notice its scent, even if only for a short time.
For a while it then stays like that, with the pepper again weakening more and more.
In the base, the scent actually no longer changes much, as I can continue to smell oranges (but now a little more bitter) and also the tea, but everything only quite weak.
An overall quite nice, fresh scent.

The sillage and the durability:
The sillage is above average and thus, at least up close, still reasonably smellable, though not for long. The durability is quite okay, on me the fragrance adhered for seven to eight hours.

The bottle:
The bottle is rectangular and thick glass. The fragrance liquid is pink-orange. In addition, there is a golden shimmering, metal plaque with name and brand on one side. On one side, another such plaque was attached, but this plaque was punched out with beautiful floral patterns. Viewed through the bottle, these patterns also look very nice. The lid is cylindrical and white. Like all bottles of the Maison Lancôme series, this bottle is also very nice to look at.

Conclusion:
Yes, I had already guessed that this could be a great fragrance and yes, I was not disappointed. Sure, the sillage could be, as with all fragrances of this kind (so tea and citrus), much more intense, but well, that's the way it is, you have to live with it willy-nilly. But still, the fragrance is very very nice and fits as a leisure fragrance or everyday fragrance excellent in the spring and especially in the summer with its fresh, loose scent.

A test is absolutely recommended, unless of course you're brain burned and not into the scent of tea and oranges,... how can you not like it? Bah, instead you'd rather be into kinky things like cumin or coriander, baaaah! :D

And somehow that's it for today, I know my commi was short now, but hey, I can't always write long where half of the text is just bitching about you ladies, can I? Unless you give me permission to do so, mu ha ha ha :DD
Well then, have a nice evening :)

A tea scent for me (infusion time: 3 minutes)
What I particularly like about Oranges Bigarades is the stimulating bitter freshness of a strong black tea that has not been brewed too long. Clearly I smell a good shot of bergamot, which gives the tea the Earl Grey freshness. Orange as a juice or fruit is more in the background behind it, but it seems to me as if orange blossoms, including a bit of bitter neroli, are speaking very lightly and reservedly. The most exciting thing about the fragrance for me is the sweetness. I am very reserved with sweet scents, they don't suit me. But I only perceive the sweetness in Oranges Bigarades as a very light and non-sticky sweetness, such as dextrose, which dissolves quickly and gives energy. Quite different from the syrupy or dessert sweet in gourmand scents. Apropos: I don't find the fragrance creamy and don't recognize vanilla.
I have a little point deduction for a slight artificiality in the later course of the fragrance.
It's not a pure summer scent for me, it always goes.

Orange, vanilla and luxury
"Orange Bigarades," it says on the package. You think this scent is just fresh. No. An unexpected variety of orange with vanilla that you'll notice from the start. Very surprising. You sit in the restaurant of a longer luxury hotel and you are served by a very attractive waiter. A thick - sweet orange with vanilla cream. You don't eat this dessert right away... lets it affect you first. You smell that scent.

Every wish, even unfulfilled, is about to have a baby..
Angua's commentary on "Orange Bigarades" sounded so seductive that I rushed to Karstadt during my lunch break, gripped by an intense desire for scent. Without much hope of actually finding the exclusive Lancome line there. But lo and behold: another prejudice must be put aside, there they stood in line: the flacons in all their golden-flowered splendour - and Orange Bigarades quickly came to my wrist. The fragrance begins with a pretty heavy top note - there's nothing shy about it: but cheerful and exhilarating. The tart and citric scent of candied orange peel (called Aranzini in Austria), however, fills my nose not scratchy but juicy and spiced with a distinct pinch of bergamot. This immediately puts me in a good mood and gives me a real boost of energy. After a while the scent becomes a bit harsher, the tea comes out: For me it smells like Earl Grey, which has been mixed with very strong black tea. Tart, but not bitter - and again it is an additional component that keeps the fragrance fresh. Woody pepper is also mixed in - and I think I smell ginger, too.
Citric-green is not the right classification for the fragrance. For me it would be citric-spicy-woody.
An extremely fine, balanced, unobtrusive fresh scent with a nevertheless high recognition factor - not wrongly described by the saleswoman as a "first-class wellness wellness fragrance"! As I tested "Jasmine's Marzipane" of the same series on the other wrist, which literally lifted me out of my socks, "Orange Bigarades" did not have an easy time with this test. But he passed the challenge with flying colours - and now I have a decision problem and two more fragrances on my unfulfillable, ever-growing fragrance wish list!
